Who cares if it’s 85 degrees out: Winter is coming, and we can’t wait! Get ready for a battle royale among the leading ladies of the Seven Kingdoms (oh, and maybe Jon Snow, too), and place your bet on the who will land (hint, hint) on the Iron Throne with these iconic beauty looks from Game of Thrones.

After what feels like an eternity, Game of Thrones is back for its seventh season with what promises to be its most dramatic and action-packed yet. Winter is finally here, and it’s going to be good. But what’s more exciting than watching dragons and White Walkers? I’d say it’s getting to see the most powerful women in the Seven Kingdoms finally interact with one another. We’ve followed these three women on their journeys to the Iron Throne and their ever-evolving looks that reflect their positions, personalities, and places in the world. Let’s take a look back at these iconic — and extremely wearable — looks and show you how to recreate them with a combination of Korean and Western makeup you probably already have at home.

Glowing Like Fire: Daenerys Targaryen

The Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, has had a long and winding journey to the powerful position she’s in now. In season three, we see her at her fiercest, when she fully embraces her strength and courage. With a word, she commands an army to turn against their slave-masters and her dragon to burn the worst one alive, after outsmarting him. It is in this moment that she acts like the queen she was born to be, and it’s especially triumphant to watch after seeing her at the mercy of so many men.

And Daenerys truly looks the part of a queen. Wearing royal blue with her signature platinum locks braided back, her makeup is soft, radiant, and feminine, making the statement that she is as ferocious as the men around her, but still very much a woman and all the more powerful for it.

To recreate this look, start with flawless, glowing skin. Mixing Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector with VDL Real Skin Foundation gives a lit-from-within look with a flawless, semi-matte finish that is super natural.

Daenerys also keeps her brows full and straight. You can achieve this with the Pony Effect Shaping Brow Definer to outline and fill in sparse brows for a thicker, arch-free look, finishing with the Pony Effect Contour Brow Color to soften the look.

Daenerys’ eye colors are a soft wash of pinks that is perfect for summer. The Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette was almost created for this look. Blend matte pink shadow all over the lid, a slightly darker pink into the crease, and finish off with a shimmery highlight in the inner corners and brow bone, all achievable with one palette.

Skip the liner and add a couple coats of Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Escalator Mascara to lengthen lashes, then contour with the Etude House Play 101 Stick Color Contour Duo to mimic Daenerys’ carved cheekbones. Blend a natural cream blush like Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Cushy Blusher up towards the temples for this look. Finish off with a MLBB lip color like the Dior Lip Glow. (Pro tip: Apply Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask the night before for a soft, lush pout.)

Effortless, natural, and feminine — Daenerys’ look is perfect for summer. And if you get inspired to go out and conquer, that’s just a bonus.

No-Makeup Makeup: Sansa Stark

This season, we’ll also see Sansa Stark come into her own to become a true player in the Seven Kingdoms. We saw her evolve and grow as a character last season, when she escapes from Ramsay and, in an iconic TV moment, rejoins her brother Jon Snow. As she helps to bring the Stark name back to power and becomes colder and more merciless after the horrors she’s endured, Sansa sheds the ultra-feminine makeup of seasons past and goes for this pared down look.

To get Sansa’s bright skin, prime the face with Son&Park Tone Up Base before foundation. Its pink tones will create the perfect radiant base without any shimmer or glitter. Follow up with a foundation, or if you’re lucky enough to have good skin to start with, try a tinted moisturizer or BB Cream.

The highlight of this look is a clean and subtle contour. Using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit and a wet beauty blender or contour brush, gently sculpt in cheekbones, nose bridge, and temples, and most importantly, blend, blend, blend. Then go in with Pony Effect’s Strobing Luminizer to add dimension to the high points of the face.

The Clio Tinted Tattoo Kill Brow is perfect for creating dark, defined brows like Sansa’s. Fill in brows neatly and keep them thin with a clean arch. Finish Sansa’s look off with a coat of Innisfree Skinny Microcara, and you’ve got this stripped down, everyday look. This is especially great for anyone looking for a change from heavy winter makeup (or an escape from an insane boy/king/monster).

Cold and Flawless: Cersei Lannister

It wouldn’t be a powerful-woman roundup without Cersei Lannister, queen bee of Westeros. After Joffrey’s death, we see Cersei become drunk with power (and also just drunk), unleashing her ferocity on anyone who threatens her crown. I wouldn’t say this is when she’s at her best, but she’s certainly interesting to watch at her worst. This season, we’ll see her heal after her public shaming and rise to fight again, so it feels right to recreate her iconic feminine, flowing-mane look.

Cersei’s skin is perfectly matte, emphasis on the perfect. To get this look, use Hera’s HD Perfect Foundation followed by Nars Creamy Concealer to get an absolutely flawless complexion. For those dark, defined brows that are still extremely natural, brush Benefit’s Gimme Brow through the brows, combing hairs upwards.

The 3CE Mood Recipe Triple Shadow in Dainty Tasty has the perfect combination of colors for her subtly contoured eye. Pop the darkest shade into the crease and slightly on the outer corners, and then tightline with a brown eyeliner or shadow. Finish this look with several coats of your favorite mascara.

Cersei’s cheekbones are sharp enough to cut glass, so use that Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit and contour to the heavens. Don’t forget to contour the temples, chin, and nose bridge, too, for a sharply defined face. A dusky blush like the Pony Effect Personal Cheek in Flame of Desire accents the contour when lightly swept up towards the temples. And to finish it off, Cersei’s signature lip is a matte nude with more pink tones than browns. Swipe on 3CE Mood Recipe Matte Lip in 115 Muss, and dab with your finger to blend. If this look doesn’t make you go out and crush your enemies, I don’t know what will.

I can’t wait to see how these ladies’ looks evolve in this monumental season. Who is your favorite  character, and what are your favorite beauty looks from Game of Thrones? Let us know if you try these looks and how you make them your own!
