You know Missha, right? But do you know A’Pieu, Missha’s little sister brand? Because if you don’t, you’re missing out. With amazingly innovative products and super affordable prices, A’Pieu is a brand every K-beauty insider needs to know.

In a group email, the Beautytap K-Beauty Squad and I were discussing how awesome A'Pieu is and how little love it gets compared to some other brands. Once you get to know A'Pieu it's hard not to love them. They put out imaginative, quality products at affordable prices. Their selection of skincare, makeup, tool basics, as well as more creative products guarantee you're bound to find something you'll marvel at. I've gathered together some of my top picks from the brand that I think are an excellent way to discover the charm of A'Pieu!

A’Pieu Silicone Mask Cover

A’Pieu

This is a must-have for any sheet masker. Especially if you're a fidgety one like me. If you want to be able to, you know, actually get sh—t done (tm) while masking, this cover is the answer to all your wildest productive dreams. This simple little mask cover slips on over your regular chosen sheet mask and holds it in place so you can get up and move around and do whatever needs doin' while you multitask and mask! It also keeps the mask from drying out, so if you really want to let all that serum soak in and have an extended masking session this is perfect. (Or put it over your mask as you shower like Angela of BeautyandtheCat does.) Totally worth its $5 cost.

A’Pieu Real Big Yogurt One Bottle Mask Pack Strawberry

A’Pieu

If you're not familiar with Korean yakult, this one may be lost on you, but I love this little yogurt mask. It contains lactobacillus ferment, and it makes my skin very happy. Also it really smells just like the Korean strawberry yogurt drink so I like to be real meta and drink one while I'm using this mask. Pro-tip: Sneak some soju in your yogurt drink and get super relaxed with this mask, wine mom style.

A’Pieu Sea Buckthorn Cream

This cream deserved an Employee Of The Month certificate from me when I first tried it. Never in a million years would I have expected a $12 cream to preform this well. First of all, the texture is amazing. This is a gel type cream, so don't think that it's heavy just because it's called a cream. It's as light as a delicate merengue and it absorbs immediately. It leaves no stickiness behind on the skin so if you know someone who has texture issues with moisturizers, let them in on this one. Second of all, the first ingredient is actually sea buckthorn extract, which is usually a very pricey ingredient, so the fact that this is $12 is even more astounding. Did I mention it's only $12? Cause it is, and you need to own it.

Missing the A’ieu Sea Buckthorn Cream? Try Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream for just a little more, an upgraded dupe with 70% sea buckthorn extract and all EWG green (safe) ingredients (and read Sheryll's glowing review here).

A’Pieu Non-Latex Blending Puff & accessories

Not only is this a Beauty Blender dupe, it's a fraction of the price at $5. Non-latex blending puffs are great because unlike latex blenders, they expand and get softer when dampened with water. It makes for a softer, more air brushed application.

A’Pieu

Special shout-out to A'Pieu for not stopping with the blending puff and even creating a two little blender related care products! They have the handy and adorable A'Pieu Puff Stands, which are $5 and come in three different colors. They look like a little tiny Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair for your puff to sit in so it doesn't get germs. They also have a pretty awesome blender and puff cleaner for $6.50.

If you can’t find the A’Pieu Non-Latex Blending Puff, try this dupe by Romand.

A’Pieu Super Moringa Hair Oil

I have a pricy hair oil from Sephora that starts with a O and ends with an UAI and I honestly see no difference in my hair between that $28 dollar bottle and this $8 bottle. Sooo, yeah. A'Pieu comin' through with that win. I'm gonna save that $20 because my hair is just as happy with this moringa oil.

A’Pieu Hole Cleaner

A’Pieu

Between this and the hair oil, I guess you could say A'Pieu has you covered head to hole. #Dadjokes. I have to celebrate the fact that A'Pieu even thought to make this product made for cleaning out your ears and belly button. Yes, that's what it's for. What did YOU think it was for?

A’Pieu Lolly Bubble Bath Ball

You know those fizzy bath bombs from Lush? A’Pieu totally has one, too! And it smells like rosemary! And it makes your bathwater all pink and fizzy and you feel like you're bathing in magical unicorn tears! It's $7 for a 120g ball, so it's on par with Lush prices but made with herbal oils. Inside you'll find rosemary leaf oil, chamomile flower oil,  and the wonderful tension releasing lavender oil.

A’Pieu Pure Block Water Bling Sun Balm

I prefer a spray-on sunscreen for reapplication LINK, but my second (and in a way, probably smarter) choice is this sun balm. It goes on clear and is really freakin' excellent for getting delicate areas that a spray has no business being focused on like the eyes and lip area. It's also good for getting the tops of your ears if you're wearing a ponytail or bun. Yep, the tops of your ears. That's a place you may not always think of for application, but it's exactly where I developed skin cancer. This is applied like any BB cushion, which is actually great for even coverage. It's $13 for SPF 50 PA+++ coverage and has the additional benefit of being very portable.

A’Pieu Pure Block Sunscreens

Last but not least, we can’t forget A’Pieu’s sunscreens — especially not when my colleague Jude Chao basically put these on the map. Both the fast-drying Aqua Sun Gel and gentler (aka sans alcohol) but equally lightweight Natural Daily Sun Cream have become cult favorite best sellers since Jude reviewed them here. All I know is that half the K-Beauty Squad buys them in bulk, and they’re probably one of the most affordable, most lightweight sunscreens out there.

Do you have any A’Pieu favorites I missed? Let me know — I love this brand and I'd love to know what I should try next!
