About the product

What Is It:

An editor favorite, this cleansing oil “grips” and removes oil-based makeup (even waterproof mascara), sunscreen, dirt, and excess sebum, all while maintaining the moisture balance of the skin. Made with 61.55% Jeju camellia seed oil and over 99% natural ingredients, this cleansing oil washes away cleanly, without the need for a follow-up foam cleanser, if you so wish. There are no synthetic oils like silicone or mineral oil in the cleansing oil, and it’s hypoallergenic, so it’s perfect for all skin types.

Our insight:

This is an editor-fave cleansing oil for its non-overly slick feel, super gentle makeup removal abilities, and refreshingly clean finish. It doesn’t have that suffocating oily feeling of other cleansing oils, and we love that it’s nourishing our skin with antioxidants to sweep away pollution particulates. While we like to follow up our cleansing oil with a foam cleanser, you don’t have to with this clean-rinsing cleansing oil, especially if you have dry skin. Read about our double cleanse techniques (including the “against the grain” method).

How to use:

Pump 2-3 times into dry palms and massage over your dry face. Add a little water to emulsify into a milky lotion as your massage. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Camellia seed oil is rich in vitamins, omega-3, -6, and -9, and oleic acid; absorbs well without stickiness; and helps to deeply hydrate skin. Using a cold-pressing process to naturally extract unrefined camellia oil, thereby preserving its skin-nourishing properties, SanDaWha emphasizes high quality ingredients over fancy packaging. Such a great line for sensitive skin. When I talked to people with sensitive skin about their skincare, they are often concerned that oil cleansers will irritate their skin, but this one definitely won't. Camellia and olive oils are very gentle on the skin.

Love ! Love ! Love 💕💕💕

This product is Great! My pre-teen daughter uses it on her dry face and it moisturizes perfectly!

This is the best oil cleanser I have tried to date. Just gorgeous! Love the creamy texture after adding water! Rinses clean, and leaves skin soft.

camellia japonica seed oil is amazing! love products with this ingredient. its an antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory, is really good for trouble skin.

I have switched to this from another cleansing oil and I am so glad I did. I feel like this does such a good job of breaking down my makeup and rinses completely clean. It is such a gentle product. Would recommend this to anyone!

I am in love with that cleansing oil! I used to hate cleaning my makeup 💄 with micellar water and tons of cotton pads 😝. Now I enjoy my morning/evening skin routine 💁🏼‍♀️I can even massage my skin, relax and my make up melts as 🍦

This cleanser has converted me from a makeup wipe user to an oil cleanse user. It was not messy and it was very gentle on my skin.

This smells amazing and washes off easily, but it's thicker than ideal for me.

Smells divine, leaves skin soft and emulsifies beautifully. Works great at taking off all my makeup and sunblock. Hopefully the travel size version will be back in stock soon so that I'll be able to take it with me on vacation.
