Personally, I haven’t found an eye cream that has helped me very much with puffiness but I have found that using eye hydrogels has really helped me with eye puffiness. I am loving the Jayjun ones (both versions) and I using put a drop of facial oil under each eye and then slap the eye hydrogels on for 20 minutes. Great way to look more refreshed in the morning or to end your day!
Thanks, annapark for the recommendations.
I will definitely look into both those products. The iope seems interesting, massages the eye area and de-puffs!
I really liked it. I definitely felt it boosted my other skincare, but did I love it enough to pay almost $100 every couple of months? Clearly not, since I haven’t re-purchased. Are you trying it out @vsuen?
I am a bit on the fence with this. I have heard some great things about it but as you know the price tag does seem a bit steep. I probably would love to try it out at some stage, not really sure when then. I wanted to see what some experience others have had with this. @annapark Have you found anything you think have been comparable to it ?
Shiseido Ultimune is also a “booster” that you use like the First Care Activating Serum, but that one’s pricey too. I do like it though, along with the Eye Ultimune. I would say the results were comparable. It’s odd that a road shop brand hasn’t come out with one, right? You would think all the big K-beauty brands would jump on this.
I am heard a little about that too. They just all seem to be in the much higher end of the price range. Yes I would agree! Im sure if there was one people would be all over it, perhaps one day!
Will do. The search continues 🙂 there are many many products out there. Im sure we will find it. Might take a while haha but we also might be lucky and stumble upon it.
I’ve been using it for about a week and not sure yet. It hasn’t wowed me like other products have. I’ve just purchased the balancing toner and ginseng water to see if the triumvirate makes an impact. So far I’m not impressed. Especially at the price point.
If you use a smartphone, you have emoticons on it… otherwise you can Google how to type them. For example, : and p typed next to each other give you :p
The weather is starting to warm up where I am. Anyone got any suggestions on what is a good day cream for spring/summer? My skin type is combination, recently I’ve started to break out a bit (Although this might have something to do with the Scinic Honey AIO that I was using). Thanks everyone! 😀
Did you know that you can actually “understand” the break out better depending on which area you are breaking out ? 🙂
is it on the T-zone? Chin? Cheeks? etc
Oh I had no idea!!
I suddenly had two massive pimples on one side of my cheek near my mouth/chin.
It’s been 2 months and they won’t fade. Still a brownish patch, I have no idea what happened or how to get rid of it. I thought it would just take time to disappear but it’s been a while. It’s never happened to me before. Do you have any thoughts? Thanks!
I have combination skin as well and I really loved Tony moly’s Chok Chok Green Tea Water Cream, because it has alot of antioxidants and it’s very gentle. Green tea is also very good for acne, as a tea and as a cream.. so that’s also another reason to love this product.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is anything that would help with dark circles under the eyes?
Just something that would help lighten it after a while. Any suggestions would be appreciated! 🙂
I like to use under eye hydrogel masks because they instantly brighten my skin and make it so hydrated! Plus you can put them under a sheet mask for that extra essence magic! It looks like W2 sells the ones by Tony Moly! https://w2beauty.com/product/tony-moly-intense-care-gold-snail-eye-mask/
Not sure what your exact situation is, of course, but if you think it might be at least partially dietary you could try BACEK – you basically make sure to eat foods/supplements with vitamins B6&B12, A , C, E, and K for 3-5 days and see if that helps your dark circles. 🙂
(If you’re going the supplement route, you shouldn’t take more than 800 micrograms/mcg of vit A daily, 200 milligrams/mg of vit B6 daily, and 800 milligrams/mg of vit E daily. As for B12, C, and K, you shouldn’t take a ton but AFAIK they aren’t dangerous in high doses like the others)
Thanks so much for this such an in depth detail of this. That’s actually very interesting!
I’ll be looking into this. I thought it might just be lack of sleep but to be honest not sure if that actually causes bad dark circles
What we are used to in Czech republic is products with cucumber. What we genuinely do is cut the cucumber and circles put on eyes…and relax…ommmm:) Try it. You will feel better from the outside and the inside!

An eye treatment with a cooling metal applicator always helps to de-puff. I find that a quick massage around the eye area helps to drain fluids in the am.
A more affordable option is this one: https://beautytap.com/product/mamonde-age-control-power-eye-cream/
