2 Must-Have, TSA-Friendly Cleansers For Your Next Trip

Worried about how to bring all your liquid-based skincare in your carryon? We break down the two essential TSA-friendly cleansers you need for your next on-flight trip — and don’t worry, security will totally be on board.

About the product

What Is It:

Stick with a classic and still get an upgrade! Banila Co Clean It Zero Purifying is the renewal of the fan favorite Banila Co. Clean It Zero Purity.
This version of the cult favorite cleansing balm is recommended for sensitive skin types. The Get It Beauty Blind Test winner melts away even the most stubborn, waterproof makeup and pore-clogging impurities with a lightweight, no-drip texture. Boosted with soothing ingredients like argan oil and Portulaca oleracea extract, this sorbet textured balm helps even skin tone, leaving you with zero residue, zero dryness. (In fact, Banila Co. Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm Purifying been tested to increase skin’s hydration levels by 14%.)
Banila Co Clean It Zero Purifying is tough on dirt and oil, but gentle on your skin with its mild formulation containing soothing botanicals such as Althea Rose Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract and even Licorice Root Extract. This first step cleanser won’t strip your skin of precious moisture, but it will completely wash away all impurities as it emulsifies in water. Your skin is left clean, supple, and ready for your second step cleanser and skincare routine.
Say goodbye to post-face wash raccoon eyes and banish pore-clogging impurities, because Banila Co Clean It Zero Purifying effortlessly removes even the most stubborn waterproof makeup, including mascara! There’s a reason a Banila Co. Clean It Cleansing Balm is sold every 5 seconds.

Our insight:

The new reformulation of the Banila Co Clean It Zero Purifying keeps all of the goodness of the old formula, but now has a higher melting point, making it a sturdy travel companion in high heat situations! It’s great for all skin-types but performs especially well for drier and sensitive skin.

This heavenly-textured cleansing balm will dissolve even the most stubborn eyeliner! Just remember to always use gentle pressure, especially around the eye area (excessive tugging can further cause wrinkles and fine lines!), and massage until the product melts away.

How to use:

Using the spatula, apply a small amount to face and massage gently in circular motions. Rinse well with lukewarm water, or wipe off with a tissue.

This is my favourite cleanser. It just melts onto your skin and once washed off, your face feels so soft! I'll have to buy a few more next time since it's so popular!

Finally got one of these ordered! (Actually I ordered one of each flavor--they have got to be a cult fav for a reason.....right) I cannot wait to try. And, since my daughter's oil cleanser leaked all in her suitcase on her flight home a couple weeks ago, I've heard these are perfect for traveling. Just a FYI: when traveling with an oil cleanser and your mother puts it in a ziplock bag....ZIP THE BAG!!!

This is my first balm cleanser and I like the fact that I can travel with this without any anxiety of spilling compared to oil cleansers. In addition, this is nice and light and easily melts away any makeup or sunscreen that I've applied. I do wish that the spatula holder was attached to the tub so that I don't have to juggle between the spatula and spatula holder while scooping it out.

I’m using the original one and I must say that it is definitely converting me to balm cleansers! (Was using the Shu Uemura cleansing oils previously) I’m definitely looking forward to trying out this one for sensitive skin!

Just to add that I got the newly formulated version from Seoul, which replaces mineral oil with natural ester oil. I’m loving it more the more I use it!

Yo usé como desmaquillante primero este y después el de color rosa, es verdad lo que se dice de estos productos, remueven muy bien todo el maquillaje, dejando la piel muy bonita, solo que sentí que la consistencia de este para piel sensible es un poco más liviana.

I used the origanal first and then moved on to the sensitive and love it just as much. It does the same wonderful job with a little more tlc for sensitive skin.
