About the product

What Is It:

Formulated with 10% galactomyces ferment filtrate, this alcohol-free toner hydrates and fortifies the skin barrier to prevent moisture loss. Galactomyces is a type of yeast lauded for its brightening, hydrating, softening, and antioxidant properties; its fermentation makes it better able to penetrate deep into the skin. Fast absorbing and free of parabens, ethanol, parabens, artificial color, artificial flavor, triethanolamine, and phthalate.

Our insight:

What exactly is galactomyces and why is it so good for your skin?

It’s a long, geeky name for a type of fermented yeast packed with vitamins, amino acids, and enzymes. The fermentation process breaks down its components so they penetrate into skin more effectively, making for a stronger shield against free radical and UV damage, a major cause of premature aging.
