About the product

What Is It:

Infused with luxe oils extracted from three types of black beans and seeds, this cleansing oil by Klairs is a safe, gentle, and effective cleanser. Its mild, hypoallergenic formula cleanses away makeup, impurities, excess oil, and dirt that have built up throughout the day or night, while it also moisturizes and soothes skin with anti-aging and anti-inflammatory benefits. To get down to the nitty gritty, Black Bean Oil regulates sebum production, Black Sesame Oil protects skin with antioxidants, and Black Currant Seed Oil fortifies skin with minerals and vitamins that rejuvenate and nourish skin. Now that’s more than we’d ever expect from an oil cleanser.

Brand info:

This apothecary style skincare brand offers effective products, especially for sensitive skin types, while respecting the environment. That means they keep their ingredient lists as minimal as possible and never include colorants, alcohol, parabens, or artificial fragrances. In line with their “simple but enough” philosophy, Klairs relies on time-tested, clinically approved ingredients to offer a slow and steady skincare regimen that improves skin’s health and reduces irritation. From their Supple Preparation Facial Toner to their Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop, Klairs is a brand that relies on word-of-mouth marketing, and as such, they’ve been able to provide high quality products at a reasonable price since 2009.

Loved how it worked, but gave me an allergic reaction. The cleanser removes makeup well, and if you were to use it for facial massage, it helps get trapped blackheads out. Washing it afterword doesn't leave your skin dry either. Although I do have very sensitive skin, the rest of the Klairs line has never given me a problem. Too bad!
