What Is It:

My Beauty Diary is known for making some of the most innovative, high-quality masks available on the market today, and the limited edition My Beauty Diary Japanese Sakura Mask is certainly no exception. The packaging is specially designed to feature a bright, Tokyo blue sky and the famous pink cherry blossoms. Each My Beauty Diary mask is made with the brand’s “Triple Action Formula for Perfect Delivery and Absorption (whew, that’s a mouthful!). What does this mean? Well, first, the patented Aquaroad™ Delivery System instantly actives the skin and preps it to receive nutrients and hydration, then the Tinysome penetration comes in to deliver said hydration, followed finally by Cosphingo™ technology that works to seal in the effective ingredients for long-lasting moisturization. This mask is formulated with Japanese cherry blossom extract and hydrolyzed collagen to plump and nourish the skin. It’s your sensitive to fragrance, please know this particular mask has a light, cherry blossom scent.

Soaked in essence with a subtle and nice smell. I didn't leave mine in the fridge, like I've done with other masks, yet there was still a really nice cooling effect. There is a lingering stickiness after removing the mask, which I don't mind at all, but I know some people dislike. Overall very nice!

I love these! Do you have a favorite mask that isn't on Beautytap yet? I'm constantly recommending things to the curating team. Happy Thanksgiving!

I recommend adding Soon Jung products. Their mask is my favorite of any I've tried so far, and I also love their foaming soap. Not everywhere sells Soon Jung and even fewer places sell the foaming soap refill, which is my preference since it's less wasteful.

Thanks for letting me know. I remember buying the toner and capsule masks (the dry ones you soak with essence or toner) in the past, so I'll mention all of these to the curation team this week. If you have any other favorites or need a coupon code for future purchases, just follow me here. I'll put a few codes in your "Messages" (these show up under your profile avatar) now, so they'll be available whenever you shop in the future. Many thanks!

Cherry blossom (sakura) masks are always hard to find, so I was excited to pick these up last month. I bought two boxes (one to share; one to use). I have a few boxes of cherry blossom Kao Megrhythm warming eye masks (those are life, BTW), but their scent can be a bit much when I have a headache. These MBD masks contain fragrance, although I barely noticed it. They have arbutin in them for brightening and are soaked in essence. Mine was still slightly moist after 30 minutes. Repurchasing now before they disappear.
