About the product

What Is It:

Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Emulsion EX brings you a premium hanbang experience with premium hanbang results.
Find your skin’s perfect balance in the proven wisdom of the ancients coupled with the maximum effectiveness found in modernity with Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Emulsion EX. This richly hydrating, light-as-a-feather emulsion doesn’t just moisturize topically — it treats from within. Mountain Peony extract softens and refines your skin’s texture, while Coix lacryma-jobi (wild grown Job’s Tears) helps with circulation and delivers powerful all-natural antioxidants to fight free radicals and help prevent age-related cellular breakdown. Other beneficial nutrients such as Schizophyllum commune (Split gill mushroom) soften and fortify the skin’s important natural moisture barrier. This emulsion delivers nothing less than completely balanced, well hydrated skin, all while promoting a glass-like clarity in your complexion.
The special blend of hanbang ingredients in Sulwhasoo’s Essential Balancing Emulsion EX work in harmony to firm-up skin by instantly plumping and building a strong foundation upon which collagen is built. The moisture and hydration this emulsion delivers long-lasting results, carrying you through from day to the night.
If life is a balancing act, Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Emulsion EX will tip the skincare scales in your favor.

Brand info:

This prestige beauty brand, focused on hanbang ingredients indigenous to Korea, is as highly respected in its native land as it is abroad. Proof? Locals say its Ginseng Cream is something you’d gift to a potential mother-in-law. In its earliest iteration, that ginseng cream was what launched Sulwhasoo over 50 years ago. While helping his mother’s camellia oil business, Sulwhasoo founder Suh Sung-whan came to appreciate the power of traditional Korean herbs. Working with Kyunghee University of Oriental Medicine to blend traditional Korean medicinal herbs and methods with science-backed research, Suh founded the company that would become Sulwhasoo in 1966. All of Sulwhasoo’s ingredients are meticulously cultivated in AmorePacific’s herb farm, from the saponin-rich ginseng to white lily to East Indian lotus. Its signature formula of jaumdan, which consists of five potent herbs, targets the body’s Yin energy to fight dryness, dark spots, and inflammation. In 2004, Sulwhasoo became a best seller in Hong Kong, and in 2010, the prestige skincare line made its North American debut at Bergdorf Goodman.
