Being a beauty guru is bound to be rough on the skin. This is certainly the case for Kim who admits that wearing foundation for 12 to 14 hours has suffocated her skin and caused it to become quite sensitive. So how does she maintain a healthy-looking complexion?

You may be surprised to learn that she has a relatively simple skincare regimen that focuses on cleansing, toning, essence, moisturizing, and sunscreen. She also likes to bring Korean sheet masks — that you can get for around $1 at Korean road shops — with her everywhere. (She refrigerates them first for a cool, soothing treatment.)

Well, lucky for us, she may have revealed the big secret to her healthy locks: Face moisturizer. “I actually don’t use hair oil or conditioner,” she told Stylecaster. “I just use moisturizer. I feel like, you know, whatever you put on your face is good for your hair, right? As long as it doesn’t get too greasy. Some of the hair oils I think are too strong, and sometimes you get breakouts from them.”

Since Kim is constantly being primped, dressed, and photographed on the job, for everyday, she prefers a more natural look. Healthy skin, mascara, and a pink, peach, or coral lip tint are her go-to’s. In fact, she loves lip tints so much, she says she tries a new one every week.
