It’s official. Winter is here, and we can’t get enough! For a different take on the battle royale among the leading ladies of the Seven Kingdoms, we take a look at some of the secondary but no less important women guiding the intrigue — and how you can get their iconic makeup looks from Game of Thrones.

Winter has come! Our favorites are back, and they’re better than ever. While the season premiere of Game of Thrones focused on our leading ladies, the second episode gave us some more face time with their allies and enemies — ladies we know and love (and love to hate). Wanna know how you can recreate some of their iconic makeup looks from Game of Thrones? Read one!

Natural and fierce: Missandei

First up is intelligent, beautiful, and loyal Missandei, counsel and sometimes translator to Daenerys Targaryen. Although she is a supporting character to our Mother of Dragons, Missandei stands out for her brains and, without spoiling anything, her romantic exploration with Grey Worm (finally!).

Missandei keeps her look quite simple, letting her natural beauty shine. For some light coverage without looking like you’re wearing any foundation, the Troiareuke Acsen A+ Cushion is perfect. Follow that up by dabbing on a little Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk on the cheekbones, working up towards the temples for a light contour and blush.

For Missandei’s sharp, dark brows, use the 3CE Sharpen Edge Brow Pencil to define and fill out those arches. Skip the eyeshadow and eyeliner, and go straight for several coats of Too Cool For School’s Dinoplatz Twisty Tail Mascara until the lashes look sooty.

Finish off by blotting on Romand’s Matte Lipstick in Awesome and spritz a face mist all over to keep everything looking as fresh as possible. This is the perfect everyday look that takes no time at all and still looks put together and pretty.

Oh, and keep those curls natural and healthy by air-drying them. Just treat with a hair mask and then comb through damp curls with a leave-in conditioner or hair milk.

Smoldering for revenge: Ellaria Sand

If you’re looking for something more dramatic, take a note from Ellaria Sand, who also got to have a romantic moment in this season’s second episode (before what is sure to be a rough time enduring Queen Cersei’s punishment in the next one).

But let’s focus on the positives, like Ellaria’s gorgeous glowing skin and signature, sexy kohl-rimmed eyes. Start with the Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer for that lit-from-within-Dorne kind of glow, and follow up with a BB cream of your choice. For her lightly groomed brows, a few swipes of the Glossier Boy Brow will do the trick. Brush upwards and outwards for more definition.

For the focus of this look, line the eyes and waterline with the Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner, and smudge like your life depends on it. Don’t be afraid of any imperfections, as Ellaria rocks that post-night-out look anyways. Coat the lashes with Too Cool For School’s Anke Double Long Lash Shaper to finish off the eyes.

Ellaria doesn’t wear much blush or contour, opting instead for a soft highlight. Use RMS’s Living Luminizer on the high points of the face, lightly strobing, to enhance the overall glow. Complete her look with the 3CE Liquid Lip Color in Lazy, dabbing until the color finishes like a stain.

Ellaria uses her beauty and sexuality as a weapon, and we love how sexy and mysterious this look is — ideal for a date or night out.

Mesmerizing and a little crazy: Melisandre

On the exact other end of the makeup spectrum, we have Melisandre who wields her beauty powerfully, standing out in blood-red hair and dress. In this season’s second episode, she finally meets Daenerys and is prophesizing her destiny to save the Seven Kingdoms (whether that applies to Dany or Jon Snow remains to be seen). And while I think she’s more than a little crazy, I can’t deny how striking she is every time she walks into a scene.

Melisandre’s skin is fair and bright, shining against the North’s freezing winter. Prime the skin with Laneige’s Water Glow Base Corrector in whichever shade balances and brightens your skin tone. Then use the Iope Air Cushion Matte Longwear all over the face for a flawless finish. If you prefer a super matte finish, dust a translucent powder all over the face. Go in with Pony Effect Nice Shading Contour to carve out cheekbones, and tap Glossier’s Cloud Paint Blush in Beam on the cheeks, working up towards the temple.

For Melisandre’s dark, defined brows use Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Dipbrow Pomade for the most control while filling in the brows. Go in with the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon and tightline the upper lash line. Then brush Too Cool For School’s Escalator Mascara through the lashes.

Finish her look off with the 3CE Bebe Lip Color Lip Balm in Pepper and blot for the most natural finish. This look is totally versatile. It can work for day or night depending on the heaviness of the contour and lip color. But it’s really about letting your skin shine. While Ellaria glows, Melisandre captivates.

Finally! Arya kicks ass

As a bonus, because she’s been so awesome this season, we’re including Arya Stark, who really doesn’t wear much makeup at all. She’s a little busy offing all her enemies.

But if you are looking to recreate Arya’s luminous skin and groomed brows, use the Troiareuke H+ Healing Cushion foundation, which offers enough coverage for blemishes but is light enough to leave those cuts and wounds on display. Finish off with a brow gel, and you’re on your way to being a girl with no name.
