Get Summer on Your Face With Some Fruit Cocktail-Inspired Skincare

Because nothing makes you feel like you’re in the Bahamas like some fruity summer skincare.

There’s a heatwave coming through the Southeast — like it’s going to be 96 degrees this weekend. INSANE. I guess even though it’s not “officially” summer yet, summer was like “I’M HERE!”

So I’ve been drinking a lot of sparkling water, hanging out by the pool, reading books … and dreaming of ways I can recreate my entire skincare routine to resemble a giant fruit cocktail, because honestly, why not? According to my logic, it’s just too hot to put anything with “shea butter” on the label on my face. Bring on the watermelon, the pineapple, the lime! The tea! The WATER! I want it all!

Leaders Juicy Piña Colada Brightening Mask

Let me tell you, this mask is a MOOOOOOOOD. I smells good, it delivers actual results … can I mention again that it smells good? And not in a fake, sugary sweet pineapple kinda way. It actually smells like a fresh piña colada. I don’t know how they do it! Thanks to brightening pineapple extract (and hello antioxidants) and hydrating coconut water, this mask is a MUST after long days at the pool. Or if you’re me, just wear it at the pool. YOLO!

Laneige Apple Lime Lip Sleeping Mask

It’s a gloss kinda summer this year ladies, so we gotta make sure our lips are kissably soft. No flaky, dry skin over here, folks! If you’re a fan of the OG Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, you’ll love this one. It’s made with the same complex of dead skin-melting ingredients but with a fresh, fruity flavor. Slather it on at night (like, literally, a thick ass layer), and wipe it off in the morning for super soft lips.

Neogen Real Fresh Foam Green Tea Cleanser

Iced green tea on a hot summer day is just *chef’s kiss*. Beautiful. So why not wash your face with it? Green tea is known for being a powerful antioxidant, and this cleanser is made with both 100% green tea leaves AND green tea leaf water (these two are literally the first ingredients, so no skimping around over here, folks). Green tea also helps calm skin down — perfect for when you’ve been outside at that wine festival all day long.

Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Toner Pad

Bright, glowing skin is obviously a year-round goal, but something about the summertime makes me want to glow like I’ve literally descended from the sun. These pads are a 5-in-1 deal — they help replenish moisture, improve skin texture, brighten skin, infuse the skin with vitamins, and also even out skin tone. They are literally DRENCHED in essence, making them the perfect summer travel skincare product, since you won’t need a separate essence, toner, and serum. Simply swipe, tap in the excess, apply a moisturizer and a sunscreen if it’s daytime, and BOOM. Routine, finished.

Koelcia Lime Coke Cleansing Oil

I’ve raved about this cleansing oil before — it reminds me of the days of my youth and dancing in bars and drinking rum and cokes … because it smells just like a rum and coke. If you have dry skin and you want a nice li’l cleansing oil to use in the AM that’ll remind you of dancing in bars on a hot night, then, this is truly for you.
