Following These POC Beauty Instagram Accounts Will Make Your Life (or At Least Your Skin) Better
We love diversity, and when it comes to K-beauty Instagrammers, we are spoiled for choice. From gorgeous flat lays to sheet mask techniques to dreamy vanities, these POC K-beauty Instagram accounts will keep you inspired (and scrolling) for daysssss.
If I had to choose my favorite social media channel, it would 1,000% be Instagram (the screen time statistics on my phone also agree). If you follow the right people, it’s an endless feed of inspiration. It’s also my primary way of finding out all the cool stuff that people are loving in the K-beauty world.
We’ve come a long way from the times I could count the number of K-beauty bloggers on one hand. Now there are so many that you have to actively search for them on Instagram. WHAT A TIME! K-beauty is really all grown-up.
Today, I wanted to share with you my favorite POC (that’s people of color, for short) and Black K-beauty Instagrammers. There’s a mix of everything — skincare, makeup, *aesthetics*, lifestyle posts … ya know, a little bit of something for everyone! So without further adoooooo …
@Christinahello
Christina is one of my favorite K-beauty Instagrammers. I can always count on her to have reviewed the latest and the best. Each post features a mini review. Plus, her photos are ultra dreamy! Make sure to check out her saved stories for holy grails, sunscreens, and all the skincare devices she loves.
@Maskaddict
Anna is the masking queen. (She’s also a hella strong powerlifter, so we are basically sisters at this point.) If you’re looking for info about a particular sheet mask, there’s a 9/10 chance Anna has reviewed it. Also, her PM routine is EPIC. Like … 18 products of epicness.
@Wwmebeauty
Have you ever gone to someone’s feed and wanted to buy everything on it? That’s how I feel about Keelyn. Her bio reads “A little east meets a little west,” so you can expect to find both Korean and Western products. Also? Her vanity is goals AF.
@Kenniejd
Kennie is our MAKEUP QUEEN. If you’re looking for makeup inspiration, she’s your girl. She’s encouraged me a few times to step out of the box and try some K-makeup every once in a while. Make sure to follow her on YouTube for her tutorials and reviews.
@Sharmtoaster
If you’re looking for a millennial pink dream, this is the place to be. Sharmili, from New York City, posts gorgeous photos of both her Korean and Western beauty stash, as well as the occasional meme. I now have the sudden urge to organize all of my skincare by color. Her impact!
@Silvertran
Long Tran is here to tell you that men mask, too, ya know! I could literally watch him put on sheet masks all day. His application and technique is so smooth. Swoon! Long does both video and picture reviews on his page. I love to see the instant results from some of the sheet masks he does!
@Sokobeauty
Elisa from the Netherlands is totally my aesthetic — think clean white backgrounds with a gorgeous flat lay of products, flowers, and plants. Make sure to check out her stories for information on the latest K-beauty releases and reviews!
@87Pages
Star used to live in Korea, so she knows her away around skincare. You can find shots of her favorite skincare + new finds interspersed with gorgeous lifestyle posts.
@Thepointofvu
If K-makeup is your thing, this feed is for you. Moonshot, Peripera, 3CE — and she does swatches! Don’t worry, she also frequently posts her favorite K-beauty skincare picks!
@Ryanraroar
Ryan Sim from Singapore. Can we say SKIN GOALS? He reviews a mix of high/low-end products, mostly Korean/Asian with some Western beauty sprinkled throughout.
What are your favorite POC K-beauty Instagram accounts? Are they any I should follow? Let me know in the comments!

Quite insightful Sheryll. I will be taking note of some of these IG influencers. Very savvy people from all (younger) walks of life. Here's the thing for me, these accounts are rich with beautiful pictures and information, but tips are not necessarily for mature skinned POCs like myself. I guess this will also inspire me to up my IG game!

I love this article, it’s so inspiring. I don’t know whether I want to scroll through every post of every Instagrammer you posted (which I will anyway), or if I want to rattle around the good ol’ beauty and skincare products because I’m feeling so inspired! The diversity within the K-Pop Beauty world is absolutely amazing, we love to see it, we certainly stan it.

having diversity in the beauty industry—especially international beauty—is great representation for POC as It is indicative of the broad spectrum of products that aren’t exclusive available to a certain type of demographic. and I mean that especially for such an advanced trend like k-beauty who is 12+/- years ahead of western beauty practices
