Little-known (or maybe not) fact about me — I LOVE Hello Kitty. Like. OBSESSED with Hello Kitty. Some of my fondest, most precious memories from my childhood revolve around Hello Kitty. My mom would take me and my friends to the mall each Wednesday afternoon after school, and we’d immediately rush to the Sanrio store to pick out a new pen or a set of stickers. When I went to Japan, the only place I really wanted to go to was Sanrio World in Ginza (and trust, I literally lost my mind). Each time I traveled outside of Seoul, I made sure to stop by the Hello Kitty cafe in the airport. Like I said, I LOVE Hello Kitty.

All of this is to say that when I saw that The Creme Shop was doing a collaboration with Sanrio, I nearly died. Like, full-on heart palpitations. Yes, even at 32, I still get excited about Hello Kitty. I literally want to buy every single product in this collection. I may need to freeze my credit card after everything is said and done.

We all know that K-beauty brands don’t shy away from the cute, but in my opinion, The Creme Shop x Hello Kitty & Friends collection is the cutest thing that has ever existed. I mean, there are Chococat and My Melody hand creams, for goodness’ sake. The collaboration first came to fruition in 2018, but thanks to its immense popularity, it’s now available at Ulta and CVS. We love to see it!

Products in The Creme Shop x Hello Kitty collaboration include the full range of beauty products. There are relaxing bath bombs, nourishing hand creams, hydrating sheet masks, lip-plumping balms, dewy face creams, and plush headbands. And the best part? Most products in this collection are UNDER 10 DOLLARS. I mean, hello Christmas gifts for me (and my friends too, of course).

The Creme Shop also recently launched its Hello Kitty Celebrate line, designed to honor Hello Kitty’s iconic role in pop culture for the last 45 years. The eight product collection includes the Pink Water Créme, formulated with skin-plumping hyaluronic acid and antioxidant-rich watermelon extract.

There’s also a Brightening Apple Essence Serum that has ceramide and encapsulated vitamin E beads and apple essence to hydrate and nourish the skin. The Celebrate sheet mask has to be one of my favorite things though — it has the most adorable Hello Kitty print and has cucumber to depuff, collagen to plump, and white tea that acts as an antibacterial ingredient. Cute AND effective? Yes, please.
