Natural glamour and subtle elegance glimmered bright on the red carpet.

Radiant faces took center stage amid passionate speeches, authentic camaraderie, and witty jokes at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.

Hollywood’s party of the year was a “wicked” good time as celebrities donned sleek tresses, dewy skin, nude glossy lips, and retro styles. Read on for sensational looks and the products that made them possible.

Lustrous Hair

Wispy updos, linear parts, chic bobs, and voluptuous waves were all in vogue. Cecile B. DeMille Award recipient Viola Davis was a vision in gorgeous curls. Nicole Kidman’s cascading bouffant flowed with grace. A regal hair accessory twinkled on Margaret Qualley. Michelle Yeoh’s bangs enchanted. Short cuts were smart on Glenn Close, Quinta Brunson, and Isabella Rossellini. Zendaya and Selena Gomez embraced old Hollywood glam. Soft face-framing strands bedecked Kate Winslet and Kate Hudson. Kerry Washington rocked a polished pony.

Nicole Kidman

Celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos styled Demi Moore’s ravishing raven waves with Moroccanoil’s Root Boost (blow-dried with a round brush), followed by Dry Texture Spray, then curled in alternating directions with Everlasting Curl Titanium Curling Iron, and finished with Luminous Hair Spray Strong for lasting hold.

Moore—who won Best Performance by a Female Actor, Musical or Comedy—gave a powerful speech about self-confidence, saying “In those moments when we don’t think we’re smart enough, or pretty enough, or skinny enough, or successful enough, or basically just not enough…I had a woman say to me, ‘Just know you will never be enough, but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick.’”

Emma Stone debuted a posh pixie by celebrity stylist Mara Roszak, smoothed with Roszak’s new RŌZ Evergreen Style Cream. Roszak also coiffed an award-worthy pony for Zoë Saldaña, winner of Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture using L’Oreal AirLight Pro, RŌZ Evergreen Style Cream, and Santa Lucia Styling Oil.

Hairstylist Robert Vetica's dashing style for Naomi Watts started at the scalp. “The Laduora DUO 4-in-1 Pod Based Scalp & Hair Care Device is a very important tool before a styling event like today, it’s going to help lift the roots,” says Vetica. “I’m running this tool through the hair and it’s going to lift the hair from the scalp and it’s going to give her hair more volume.” Made with science-backed technology, Laduora’s clinically proven tool combines red light therapy, microcurrent, therapeutic warmth, and massage to treat hair loss and promote a thicker, shinier, healthier mane.

This sought-after device was also used to prep silky strands by celebrity hairstylists Ben Skervin on behalf of Keira Knightley and Marilee Albin who worked with Kathryn Hahn. “Before any big event, I always start Kathryn's hair prep with the Laduora,” says Albin. “It's such a relaxing moment for her—almost like a mini spa treatment before the styling begins. After her hair is clean and blown out, I used the Laduora Boost DUO Pod as it sets the foundation for the hair to look full and voluminous throughout.”

In a vintage Givenchy gown, Ariana Grande radiated ethereal charm with sweet bangs and a ponytail à la Audrey Hepburn. Colorist Rachel Bodt transformed Glinda’s blonde locks into a warm hue with contoured highlights. “It’s this lighter nutty chestnut color that we added a lot of warmth to, giving it this gorgeous reflection,” says Bodt. “The placement of the highlights was the most important part of the look because we wanted to make it look piecey and super impactful.”

Radiant Skin

A-listers dazzled with natural beauty and luminous complexions. Pamela Anderson’s makeup-free face was DIY, no glam team involved. She knows that a flawless looking visage starts with proper preparation and impressive skincare products.

First time host Nikki Glaser entertained with classy humor and genuine spirit. Her golden skin was courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Jenna Kristina and Naked Sundays Cabana Crème SPF 50 Hydrating Sunscreen Moisturizer (with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E), CabanaGlow SPF50 Mineral Glow Serum Drops in Bronze, and the transparent Hydrating Glow Mist Top Up Spray SPF 50+. “The look is bronze goddess, so these really help to prime her skin with added glow and bronzing tone, like she just came back from vacation,” says Kristina.

Fan favorites Solawave 4-in-1 Radiant Renewal Skincare Wand and the Lightboost Activating Serum gave Cooper Koch a handsome glint. “The vibration helps to waken up the skin in the best way possible,” says celebrity groomer Miho Suziki. “This helps with depuffing and adding a subtle radiant glow.”

Siren Sofia Vergara was enriched by La Prairie’s supreme Skin Caviar collection (Mist, Eye Lift, Eye Cream, Essence-in-Lotion, and Liquid Lift) applied by makeup artist Sabrina Bedrani. “I focused on creating the perfect canvas because flawless, long-lasting makeup starts with well-prepped skin,” says Bedrani. A four-step routine energized, brightened, nourished, and firmed Vergara’s visage. “I’m really loving the new Skin Caviar Liquid Lift, it’s the ultimate for an instant lift.”

Emilia Pérez actress Karla Sofía Gascón made Golden Globes history as the first openly transgender woman nominated for Best Female Actor in A Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy. And she won! In the spotlight and a glorious Saint Lauren gown, Gascón said “I chose this color tonight, the Buddhist color, because I have a message for you: the light always wins over darkness. You can put us in jail, you can beat us up, but you never can take away our soul, our existence, our identity. I want to say to you, raise your voice, freedom, and say I am who I am, not who you want.”

Makeup artist Vincent Oquendo prepped Gascón with a trio of Beau Domaine’s revitalizing products: The Cleansing Emulsion, The Serum, and The Fluid Cream. “For Karla‘s Golden Globes look, I was channeling Greek goddess inspired glam,” says Oquendo. “I wanted her to have strength and power behind the eyes, and I wanted her skin to be buttery and radiant.” Mission accomplished.

Buddhist beauty Sharon Stone—the inaugural Golden Globe International Icon Award recipient and previous Golden Globe winner for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama—was timeless in highly coveted Retrouvé “Where Luxury Meets Legacy”…truly. Makeup artist Amy Oarsman prepped Stone’s classic features and glowing skin with the brand’s superior, ethical, multi-tasking formulas.

Rachel Brosnahan illuminated the night with superhero appeal (she plays Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman film). Celebrity makeup artist Lisa Aharon used Yon-ka Paris’ Eau Micellaire cleanser, Hydra N°1 Serum, Time Resist Jour, Phtyo-Contour eye cream, Vital Defense Mist, and Huile Délicieuse for Brosnahan’s immaculate complexion

“For Rachel’s Golden Globes look, it was all about creating that lit from within glow that felt natural yet luxurious under makeup,” says Aharon. “To pull everything together, I added a quick spritz of Phlur’s Golden Rule on her pulse points as the perfect finishing touch for Rachel’s Golden Globes vibe.”

Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role on Television winner, Jessica Gunning, was also brilliantly prepped with Yon-Ka Paris. Celebrity makeup artist Melanie Inglessis applied Lotion PS to refresh, Hydra N°1 Serum gel-serum, Time Resist Jour (a lightweight cream made with plant stem cells, wakame extract, grape seed oil, and shea butter), and anti-fatigue Phyto-Contour eye cream.

“The goal is to really hydrate the skin because, as you know, it's a long night,” says Inglessis. “I’m such a skin person, so for me, hydration is key. Healthy-looking skin is the foundation of any makeup look. Without good skin, it doesn't matter how great your lips or eyes are—good skin is where good makeup begins.”

Award winner Zoë Saldaña gave an exuberant acceptance speech, beaming with joy. Makeup artist Vera Steimberg treated Saldaña with CurrentBody’s new LED Light Therapy Face Mask: Series 2 for instant glow. “Having the time to relax before starting the whole process of makeup and hair, and having that red light effect on her face to give me the radiance I need, is the perfect way to start a beautiful day at the Golden Globes,” says Steimberg. The 10 minute treatment benefits skin by reducing fine lines and promoting collagen production with 236 LED bulbs and three light wavelengths: red, near-infrared, and new deep near-infrared.

Fellow nominee and eternal beauty Cate Blanchett also received CurrentBody’s red light treatment prior to exquisite makeup by Kara Yoshimoto Bua. As did Mikey Madison, prepped by makeup artist Melissa Hernandez.

“What I love about the CurrentBody LED Light Therapy Face Mask: Series 2 is how effortlessly it enhances clients' skin ahead of red carpets,” says Hernandez. “The LED therapy helps boost collagen, soothe any redness, and leaves her skin with the most gorgeous, healthy glow. It’s an incredible tool that preps the skin beautifully for makeup, ensuring it looks smooth, luminous, and camera-ready.”

Following this mini spa, Hernandez chose time-honored Parisian brand G.M. Collin’s high-performance lovelies Bota-Peptides Serum to boost firmness, the ultra-luxe Diamond Cream for deep hydration Bota-Peptides Eye Contour, and Instant Radiance Eye Patches to depuff and brighten.

Celebrity facialist Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine indulged six celebrities—Zoë Saldaña, Colman Domingo, Kathryn Hahn, Allison Janney, Sharon Stone, and Edgar Ramirez—with The Method by Augustinus Bader. “The Method works synergistically with the skin to bring vibrancy, hydration, and enhance tone,” says McLeod-Valentine. He uses The Cleansing Balm, The Cream Cleansing Gel, The Face Oil, The Face Cream Mask, The Eye Patches, The Ultimate Soothing Cream, The Rich Eye Cream, The Rich Cream, and The Face Mist. As a finale to this sumptuous ritual, McLeod-Valentine guides his clients with a visionary meditation for deep relaxation.

Kaley Cuoco was resplendent thanks to Fig.1 skincare and celebrity makeup artist Jamie Greenberg. “We started with the Micellar Oil Cleanser to take off any stubborn makeup or debris; then we used the Hydrating & Balancing Toner to even out her pH before brightening under the eyes with the Vitamin C Eye Cream,” says Greenberg. “ Last but not least, the Ceramide Moisturizer is not only so so so good but it also primes the skin before makeup.”

Sun-kissed skin was fashionable on a bevy of stars including Zanna Roberts Rossi, Erin Foster, and Sara Foster. Superbly spray tanned by Sugared + Bronzed, sans streaks or lines as every client is airbrushed by hand, the actresses flaunted natural softness. “To keep her look flawless beyond the event, Zanna relies on our Sugared + Bronzed Sunless Tanning Water to maintain her color,” says founder Courtney Claghorn.

Naomi Watts enjoyed pre-show R&R, massaged by celebrity makeup artist Mary Wiles with the Tronque Body Contour Massager. “I always use it as part of skincare prep before makeup because it helps with lymphatic drainage and sculpting,” says Wiles. “It helps with any puffiness and water retention, which is really important when people are flying and need to look good for the red carpet. It’s also very relaxing and helps clients feel very calm so they can focus on what they are doing and take away any of the anxiety of the night.”

Praiseworthy Makeup

No makeup-makeup and glowy allure were highlighted by eye-catching lids, lashes, and pops of color. Catherine O’Hara puckered up with a crimson kisser. Sexy in emerald, Salma Hayek mirrored eyeshadow in a 300 carat necklace. Dakota Fanning matched red lips with her scintillating dress and sister Elle. Felicity Jones, Mindy Kaling, and Kerry Washington fluttered smokey eyes.

Kerry Washington’s matte and dark eyeshadow look was created by celebrity makeup artist Carola Gonzalez with Beauty Pie’s Wondercolour Longwear Cream Shadow Stick in Vanilla Whirl the deepest shade in the James Molloy Deluxe Eyeshadow Quad.

Glistening in her Golden Globe award, Demi Moore deserved attention in gilded eyelids and barely-there lips—Rouge Dior Contour Lip Liner in Nude Ribbon and Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil in Poppy Coral. Anna Sawai, winner for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series, Drama, amazed with another Dior lip to love: Rouge Dior Contour in Rose Spice and Dior Addict Lip Glow in Rose Nude.

Elegant as ever, Naomi Watts was breathtaking in Le Rouge Français by celebrity makeup artist Mary Wiles. Cheek & Lips in Néfertiti blushed a creamy flush of color. “The emphasis of the look is on the lips, so we just wanted to add a bit of a glow and freshness to the skin,” says Wiles. Eyes were lightly outlined with Le Rouge Français Le Noir Calistoga eye pencil. “I then muted it out a bit with my finger so that it was softly blended away to nothing,” she says. “By doing that, you add depth, but you don't add the heaviness. It looks like it's just really thick, good lashes.” Le Noir Cassiopée mascara topped lashes and Pasiphaé lip oil added shimmer.

Recreate Sofia Vergara’s knockout look with makeup artist Sabrina Bedrani’s pro tips and select products: Anastasia Beverly Hills Impeccable Second Skin Matte Foundation in 3N, Magic Touch Concealer in 7, and Cream Bronzer in Caramel, Blurring Serum Blush in Guava, and Ice Out Highlighter.

“For her eyes, I used the Soft Glam eyeshadow palette, I started with burnt orange all over her lids as a base, followed by Sienna in the middle of her lid, blending it outward to extend her eye in a cat eye shape as well as along the lower lash line,” says Bedrani. “To finish her eyes, I applied Waterproof Gel Liner in the waterline and then applied Lash Sculpt Mascara in Black. Her sculptural eyebrows were dressed in Brow Wiz in Soft Brown and set with Brow Freeze Gel. Vergara’s famous lips were refined with Lip Liner in Parchment and Soft Brown Lipstick.

Celebrity makeup artist Gregory Arlt created Fran Drescher’s Italian diva look with Laura Geller’s bestselling skincare and makeup. For her complexion, he started with Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer Hydrate, followed by Double Take Baked Full Coverage Foundation in Light, Baked Blurring + Setting Powder in Light/Medium, Baked to Go Blush-N-Brighten Blush in Tropic Hues, and Baked Natural Glow Highlighter in French Vanilla. Drescher’s eyes batted with Spackle Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer and The Ultimate Palette Essentials Kit - Neutrally Natural. Her lips were smoothed with the Prep Stick Lip Scrub and painted with Modern Classic Waterproof Lip Liner in Ritzy Red and Modern Classic Cream Lipstick in Red Radiance.

Jessica Gunning was all smiles as makeup artist Melanie Inglessis applied K-beauty adored Femmue Lip Sleeping Mask to hydrate, add shine, and plump. “I applied a thick coat on the lips and let it sit while I did the rest of the makeup,” says Inglessis. “Just before applying lipstick, I wiped it off.” And voilà, Gunning was primed for a berry beautiful lipstick made with plant-based pigments, Le Rouge Français in Le Nude Wantura. “It’s hydrating, but it also stays on all night. It’s such a unique combination because most long-lasting lipsticks are drying, or hydrating lipsticks don’t last long.”

Lashes For Days

Lashify’s multi award-winning lashes embellished Kathryn Hahn’s glam. Celebrity makeup artist Jo Baker used the LED Control Kit and customized Lash Map for a sensual look. “For tonight’s Golden Globes, I created a refined, natural, balanced, flared eye look,” says Baker. "I started by cleansing the lashes with Lashify’s Pre-Cleanse Cleansing Water, then used Whisper Light Bond Dual-Sided to apply Gossamers in C8 for the inner corners, finishing with FL10 and FL12 to create a fanned-out, luxurious yet natural lash.”

Jennifer Coolidge

Baker also prepped Jennifer Coolidge, using MCoBeauty “Australia’s leading luxe for less beauty brand” for seductive pizazz. Flawless Glow Foundation and Brighten & Perfect Cream Concealer toned with balanced coverage. “Jennifer loves a glamorous eye,” says Baker who blended Eyeshadow Stick in Matte Chocolate for a minky soft appearance.

“XtendLash Mascara stretched Jen’s lashes out and made the best base for the additional lashes we added on top.” Cheeks were peachy, dabbed with Soft Matte Beauty Wand in Cosmopolitan Blush. Her plush lips were layered with Perfect Pout Lip Liner in Very Shelley, Lip Ink Longwear High-Shine Liquid Lipstick in True Peach, and Liplight Shine Gloss in Marshmallow. On trend with sunlit skin, Baker buffed Coolidge with Instant Glow Flash Primer and Super Glow Bronzing Drops for an allover sheen.

Popping Nails

From short and square to pointed and gilded, nails were on par with understated sophistication—except for one magical touch of artistry. Amy Adams sparkled in a champagne shade from Gel Lab Pro Nail Color in Dirty Little Secret. Celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik painted Selena Gomez’s French manicure with Olive & June's gel nail lacquer in hue The Queen Takes Her Tea with Milk.

Viola Davis was Emerald City ready in bespoke green by celebrity manicurist Julie Kandalec who combined Aprés Nails Aloe You Vera Much with Birnam Wood. And Cynthia Erivo “defied gravity” with magnificently bejeweled adornments by Mycah Dior and OPI shades Kyoto Pearl, Rated Pea-G, Miami Beet, Princesses Rule, and Fiyero’s My Mani (from the limited edition OPI x Wicked Nail Lacquer Collection).

The stunning trends and heartfelt words showcased at this year’s Golden Globes gala launched the 2025 awards season with abundant finesse.

“In a time when pessimism and cynicism sort of rule the planet right now, we can still make art that is a radical act of optimism, that is empowerment, and that is joy. So, when we discover that maybe the world isn’t exactly the way we thought it was, then maybe we’re a little bit Elphaba inside of us, that maybe we have that courage and that strength to not give up, but to rise up and take the road off the yellow brick road and maybe discover we can fly.”

- Director Jon M. Chu in his acceptance speech for Wicked’s Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award

May all good things be celebrated.
