Hollywood stars dazzled in subtle makeup, luminous skin, and elegant hairstyles.

The 97th annual Academy Awards were gracious and authentic, with beauty looks to match. As Hollywood’s biggest night honored a year of creative genius, the movie making community applauded each other and the extraordinary art of film.

“For almost a century, we have paused every spring to elevate and celebrate an art form that has the power at its very best to unite us,” said host Conan O’Brien. “The magic, the madness, the grandeur and the joy of film worldwide is going to be with us forever.”

And so will the memories of stunning red carpet styles. Natural beauty was in focus, highlighted by soft makeup, radiant complexions, splendid hair, and genuine joy. From seasoned luminaries to surprise newcomers, celebrities were prepped by industry maestros and cherished products. We are sharing the top choices and pro techniques.

Sumptuous Skincare

Fresh-faced charm was aglow with dewy, plumped, vibrant skin. Proper prep is the foundation for any beauty aesthetic and these A-listers were scintillating.

Mikey Madison, Best Actress winner for Anora

Mikey Madison, Best Actress winner for Anora, accepted her award with sparkle and grace. “I want to recognize the thoughtful, intelligent, beautiful, breathtaking work of my fellow nominees. I’m honored to be recognized alongside all of you. This is a dream come true, I’m probably going to wake up tomorrow,” Madison shared in her Oscars speech.

Makeup artist Melissa Hernandez pampered Madison with CurrentBody Skin’s Series 2 LED Mask. “It boosts radiance, helps skin care absorb better, and creates the perfect base for makeup. There’s a reason they call it the ‘Hollywood Mask’—it just works,” says Hernandez.

This 10 minute treatment benefits skin by reducing fine lines and promoting collagen production with a plush contour shape, 236 LED bulbs, and three light wavelengths: red, near-infrared, and new deep near-infrared. Plus, it relaxes and rejuvenates the entire body prior to a momentous event.

Zoe Saldaña, Best Supporting Actress winner for Emilia Pérez

Zoe Saldaña was passionate as Best Supporting Actress winner for Emilia Pérez. Her skin was also prepped with CurrentBody Skin’s Series 2 LED Mask. “Zoe has such beautiful skin, so as long as we have good prep, I can create this very sophisticated, natural, glowy look,” says makeup artist Vera Steimberg. Steimberg also used the CurrentBody Skin LED Neck & Décolletage Mask for extra luster.

Meg Ryan was a delight, flaunting resplendent skin infused with G.M. Collin essentials—Phytoderm Cleansing Oil, Sensiderm Soothing Mist, Diamond Cream, Biocellulose Facial Mask, Instant Radiance Eye Patches, Bota-Peptides Serum, and Eye Contour.

Ryan was glammed by makeup artist Jo Strettell who says she prefers to use a foundation brush to apply serums. “The warmth of your fingertips can melt a product. That’s fine for a heavy cream, but with something so lightweight, like the Bota-Peptides Serum, you don’t want to make it too warm. With the brush, I do a circular motion so that you don't have product on the surface, it's in the skin.”

Moon applied G.M. Collin’s Instant Radiant Eye Patches, Diamond Eye Contour, Diamond Serum, Diamond Cream, and Repair Lip Balm. These award-winning formulas delivered hydration, radiance, and a silver screen finish.

Laneige’s first-ever Global Ambassador, Sydney Sweeney, was a model of perfection on Vanity Fair’s red carpet. Sydney’s makeup artist, Melissa Hernandez, shares every step to guide your at-home prep.

“I started with Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer—it’s a two-in-one that deeply hydrates like a moisturizer but feels as lightweight as a toner. Next, I applied Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer, it absorbs beautifully and leaves the perfect base for makeup—hydrated but never greasy. For the under eyes, I tapped in Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Eye Cream, which gives just the right amount of moisture without making the concealer slip. To boost radiance, I pressed Glowy Makeup Serum onto the high points of the face. Finally, I applied a little Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry to prep the lips. Even though it’s meant for overnight, I love using it before lipstick because it softens and smooths without feeling heavy.”

Serena Williams / Photo Source @serenawilliams

The Jenner-Kardashian family knows how to make an entrance—Kylie on the arm of Best Actor nominee Timothée Chalamet, Kim and Khloe at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. And they are always knockouts. A secret to their seemingly flawless skin is Sofwave, a needle-free, non-invasive treatment with age-defying ultrasound technology. This savvy tool boosts collagen and is FDA-cleared to lift, volumize, and treat fine lines and acne scars.

Serena Williams was a grand slam at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, with winning skin coached by celebrity makeup artist Sheika Daleyl. “I used Beau Domaine for skin prep to provide Serena with ultimate hydration,” says Daleyl. Her lineup included antioxidant rich The Cleansing Emulsion and intense yet lightweight The Fluid Cream. Brad Pitt and the winemaking Perrin family are partners in très chic Beau Domaine, a brand that blends science and nature into remarkable skincare.

Adrien Brody, Best Actor winner for The Brutalist

Handsome and eloquent, Adrien Brody, Best Actor winner for The Brutalist, was groomed by Team Tilbury and a trio of Charlotte Tilbury’s miraculous skincare: Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, Magic Hydrator Mist, and Magic Water Cream—an innovative new moisturizer that improves skin in just 28 seconds with impressive, clinically-proven results in 28 days.

“I love you, I appreciate you all, let’s fight for what’s right, keep smiling, keep loving one another, let’s rebuild together,” said Brody in his acceptance speech.

Groomed by Jamie Richmond, Best Actor nominee Colman Domingo was dashing with skin to praise. “Tonight’s look truly embraces Colman’s place as one of Hollywood’s leading men—strong, elegant, and undeniably sexy,” says Richmond. To achieve this look, Richmond relied on Charlotte Tilbury’s transformative Magic Cream, Hydrator Mist, Serum Crystal Elixir, and Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray.

Celebrity facialist Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine indulged celebrities Zoe Saldaña, Marisa Bode, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Edgar Ramirez, and Julia Garner with The Method by Augustinus Bader. He uses The Cleansing Balm, The Cream Cleansing Gel, The Face Oil, The Face Cream Mask, The Eye Patches, The Ultimate Soothing Cream, The Rich Eye Cream, The Rich Cream, and The Face Mist, followed by a much welcomed meditation for deep relaxation.

Olivia Wilde / Photo source @oliviawilde

Lovely Olivia Wilde was primed by celebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell and Bio-Therapeutic’s bt-sculpt. This microcurrent facial device lifts, sculpts, tones, and firms in six simple minutes. Created by microcurrent masters with more than 30 years of research and development, it’s professional-grade and made for on-the-go ease.

Zoey Deutch and Nikki Glaser were also camera ready after bt-sculpt treatments by celebrity makeup artist Jenna Kristina. “It’s non-invasive, quick, and leaves the skin looking like it’s been pampered for hours,” says Kristina. “For both Zoey and Nikki, it set the stage for flawless makeup application, letting me sculpt their features even further with contour and highlight.”

Neutrogena Hydro Boost helped prep Tate McRae, courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Lilly Keys. McRae has favored this line since childhood: the Makeup Remover wipes, Hydrating Gel Cleanser, Water Gel, and Sheer Body Spray SPF 70. Bonus points for affordability and drugstore convenience.

Humorous Jessica Williams looked smart at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party after a dose of Paula’s Choice Skincare, applied by celebrity makeup artist Cherish Brooke Hill. “I focused on creating a flawless base for her makeup by first applying 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant,” says Hill. “I applied the nourishing Pro-Collagen Peptide Gloss Balm for ultimate hydration. And lastly, mixing the Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturizer with her foundation, achieving the most gorgeous, luminous complexion.”

Ravishing Hair

Sleek buns, big curls, retro pixies, middle parts, classic coiffures—Oscars hair was as distinct as the nominees. And every actress glimmered in flattering tresses.

Mikey Madison, Elle Fanning, and Lupita Nyong’o wore refined updos. Pixies were posh on Doja Cat, Emma Stone, Anok Yai, and Isabella Rossellini (with her first-ever Academy Award nomination). Whoopi Goldberg’s braided pony was as magnificent as her personality. Bombshell bobs were seen on Selena Gomez, Halle Berry, and Julianne Hough. Goldie Hawn’s bangs were admirably adorable. Luscious length cascaded on Penelope Cruz, Miley Cyrus, H.E.R., and Lily-Rose Depp.

Michelle Yeoh / Photo Source @michelleyeoh_official

Forever regal on the red carpet, Michelle Yeoh’s polished bun showed off her glorious face. Celebrity hairstylist Robert Vetica provided a tranquil pre-show moment with the calming and revitalizing Laduora DUO 4-in-1 Pod Based Scalp & Hair Care Device. Red light therapy, microcurrent, therapeutic warmth, and scalp massage promote healthy, shiny locks…and it’s clinically proven to treat hair loss. Plus, a unique system drenches scalp and hair with a vegan, water-based solution; choose one of three formulas: Boost for hair thinning, Balance for strengthening and repair, or Awaken to soothe and clarify.

Demi Moore’s raven waves were styled by Dimitris Giannetos with inspiration from a Vogue cover shoot. “For her hair, I wanted it to be glamorous, but at the same time powerful—like Demi’s personality,” says Giannetos. He prepped her roots with Moroccanoil Boost Spray and Moroccanoil Perfect Defense Heat Protectant, tousled a blowout with Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, curled on medium setting with Dyson Corrale Straightener, and set her lush locks with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray.

Giannetos brilliantly prepped Joey King’s hair for the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. He opted for timeless brand L'Oréal Paris for her vintage look: EverPure Sulfate-Free Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, Sulfate Free Glossing 5-Min Lamination Hair Mask, and Elnett Hairspray.

L'Oréal Paris also beautified styles on Kelly Ripa’s high ponytail (hair by Ryan Trygstad), Elle Fanning’s harmonious top knot (hair by Jenna Alcorn), and Monica Barbaro’s chignon (hair by Owen Gould). Standout products were new treasures EverPure Glossing Lamination Mask, Elnett Slick Back Cream, EverPure Glossing Shampoo & Conditioner, and EverPure Glossing 5-Min Lamination Hair Mask.

Emma Stone’s starlet pixie was perfected by Mara Roszak (who also styled Zoe Saldaña’s bouncy curls). Stone’s rich nutmeg hue glistened with dimension, courtesy of celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham and Schwarzkopf Professional’s Demi-Permanent Color Line, Igora Vibrance.

Sensationally sculptural, Margaret Qualley’s updo was colored by Cunningham in a velvety high-shine brunette by Schwarzkopf Professional. The hydrating formula is infused with B vitamins and free of alcohol and ammonia to encourage healthy, happy hair.

Schwarzkopf Professional’s ‘Light Suede Blonde’ color balanced warm and bright on

Sydney Sweeney. Hairstylist Jacob Schwartz blended several shades of highlights and lowlights to create depth, texture, and suede-like smoothness.

A good dry shampoo is a perennial savior. Celebrity hair stylist Rikke Gajda chose Hairtamin's Peptide Dry Shampoo to touch-up Camila Cabello with volume and weightless appeal.

Amy Poehler / Photo Source @kyleeheathhair

Funny girl Amy Poehler worked with celebrity hair stylist Kylee Heath for a classy, effortless look. Heath used a toolkit of born in Australia BondiBoost (Thickening Spray, Heat Protect Spray, Everlast Airstyler, and Root Boost), paired with pinned curls, for a very doable do.

Celebrity hairstylist Laura Polko used her own signature haircare collection to prep Brazilian stunner Alessandra Ambrosio’s angelic mane. She used Ultimate Moisture Leave-In Conditioner to hydrate and tame flyaways. After a blowout, hair was set with velcro rollers, followed by a one-inch curling iron for bountiful verve. Curls were tousled and finished with Refresh Dry Shampoo.

Suave Makeup

Barely there makeup and lustrous allure triumphed. Nude lips, glittery eyes, winged liners, and sensuous colors added pizazz.

Ariana Grande / Photo Source @arianagrande

Celebrating her first nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category, Ariana Grande magically displayed her own r.e.m. beauty collection with Eclipse Blush + Lipstick in Matinee, Wicked Ozdust eyeshadow palette, and Plumping Lip Gloss in shade pink Razor and Chuckie.

Lindsay Lohan and Leslie Bibb were smashing in a selection of Charlotte Tilbury gems. The best-selling Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray spritzed a dewy finish for all-night charisma. Other product highlights: Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk, Airbrush Flawless Foundation and Finish, Beauty Light Wand, Exagger-eyes Volume Mascara, Brow Fix, and Lip Cheat (in Icon Baby for Lohan and Love Trap for Bibb).

Sarah Paulson was fit for royalty in Laura Geller Beauty. Adam Breuchaud showcased his skill with bestsellers Best of the Best Baked Face Palette Tuscan Dreams and Jelly Balm Hydrating Lip Color. “With the elegant, saturated color, velvet texture, and showstopping volume of the shoulders and waist of the dress, we wanted to keep an effortless aspect to the look with a clean simplicity to the makeup,” says Breuchaud.

And va va voom he did. Also applied on Paulson were Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer in Original Champagne Glow, Better Than Block Skincare-Infused Serum Foundation with Broad Spectrum SPF 50+, Filter Finish Radiant Setting Powder, Always There Lengthening Mascara, and INKcredible Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil.

As Best Actress in a Supporting Role nominee, Monica Barbaro’s talent and beauty are completely known. Celebrity makeup artist Samantha Lau shared expertise with a bevy of L'Oréal Paris. Her makeup lineup combined Lumi Le Glow Tint Foundation in Neutral, Infallible Full Wear Concealer in Biscuit, Infallible Blur-Fection Powder in Translucent Light, and the new Lumi Le Glass Highlighter Stick in Glassy Pink with Le Shadow Stick in Magnetic Mauve, new mascara Paradise Big Deal in Blackest Black, and Colour Riche Lip Liner and Lipstick in Worth It & Au Naturale.

Barbaro’s A Complete Unknown co-star, Elle Fanning, was a vision to behold. She partnered with celebrity makeup artist Erin Ayanian Moore for an exquisite look. “For Elle's makeup I wanted to bring to mind the classic Hollywood beauty of Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor and more,” says Moore. Mission accomplished. And as Bob Dylan famously wrote, she looked "Forever Young" in L'Oréal Paris’ True Match Super Blendable Foundation, Lumi Le Liquid Blush in Dewy Bright Pink, new Voluminous Panorama Mascara in All Night Black, Infallible Gel Liner in Black Noir, Colour Riche Lipstick in Ballerina Shoes, and Infallible 3-Second Setting Mist.

Also shimmering in L'Oréal Paris was Kelly Ripa with makeup and skin by Kristofer Buckle. “With Kelly’s coral gown and upswept ponytail I decided to go for well-defined brows and warm eye against a glowing complexion with lots of pink and coral built into the cheek to add some heat to accentuate her golden tan,” says Buckle. “Highlights on the high points of her face and body add an extra sense of freshness and ease, and I kept her lip, a medium nude and glossy.” His go-to’s included True Match Tinted Serum Foundation, Lumi Glotion, Lumi Le Glass Highlighter Stick in Sparkling Rose, Brow Stylist Definer Ash Brown, Brow Lamination, and Paris Plump Ambition Lip Oil in Nude Macaron.

Raffey Cassidy and Tilt Beauty both made mesmerizing Academy Awards debuts. This new makeup line is designed with comfort and accessibility; high-performance clean formulas are refillable and packaged in ergonomic shapes. “I’m into the short length of Tilt Beauty’s Lashscape Mascara wand, for me it’s easier to control and craft lashes into an elegant fan,” says makeup artist Alex Babsky.

Opulent Nails

Pearlescent, gilded, pointy, and squared—celebrity manicures were truly tip-top. Cynthia Erivo defied gravity once again with her majestic presence, voice, and nail art. Courtesy of nail artist Mycah Dior and OPI, Erivo was bejeweled à la Wicked wizardry and painted with shades Drama at La Scala, Rated Pea-G, Black Onyx, and Alpine Snow. "We wanted an ode to Oz, to Emerald City," said Erivo on the red carpet. Wish granted.

Rosalía rocked a rich brown thanks to Kim Truong and OPI’s Cliffside Karaoke. Doja Cat, with nails by Saccia Livingston, paraded OPI shade Put It In Neutral. Zola Ganzorigt manicured Hailey Bieber with OPI Passion and Funny Bunny, and gave Vanessa Hudgens’ almond shaped nails iridescence with OPI Brown to Earth.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this year’s Oscars award-worthy beauty. Thank you for sharing your style and secrets! And thank you to all the movie makers—your gifts elevate this life experience.
