Rules for the Community Dashboard
The Community Dashboards(BTdashboards) are private places for different community groups to interact, see updates, track campaigns, and see upcoming events.
THINGS TO DO IN THE DASHBOARDS:
- See posts & events unique to your account type and member title
- Comment or post in the community or update the feed or calendar comment
- Learn more details on upcoming events before you commit and add to the calendar
THINGS NOT TO DO IN THE DASHBOARDS:
These actions may lead to disciplinary actions or removal from the community.
- Posting content on community feed that is not a beauty product, beauty industry, or beautytap platform related.
- NO posting of personal info. This can include acceptance or denial of a review event, reward point status, and logistical delays in shipping.
- Please give any feedback on the platform directly to [email protected] or to our quarterly feedback post
- Pictures of personal life not related to the beauty industry or products
COMMUNITY MEMBER GUIDELINES
Rules for the different community members on the Beautytap Platform
Beautytap houses many community members which all have unique events and different event visibility within the dashboard.
THINGS NOT TO DO:
These actions may lead to disciplinary actions or removal from the community.
- Do not post info about events, acceptance, denial or opportunities you may have access to but others may not be a part of
- Do not share any links, pages, forms or access to anyone. They must go through proper applications and acceptance.
- Do not share info deemed private or prelaunch brand/product info externally until the noted time or until the private info is public on the partnered brand site.
- DO NOT share your personal login information.
REVIEW EVENT GUIDELINES
Rules for the Product Review Program
Each product review event is unique and before a community member engages they must read all requirements before they apply.
REMINDERS:
- Read full REVIEW PROGRAM FAQ HERE
- Some review events are exclusive to different community members
- Acceptance of application is random
- Due to FTC (Federal Trade Commission) regulations, no monetary or paid dollar amount may be connected to review submission.
- The noted due time( 7,14, or 30 days) starts when the product is delivered to your address provided. We automate notifications for the general reviewer group and you may be an outlier to revive the product later then others. We track when you receive it. Email [email protected] with questions.
THINGS NOT TO DO:
These actions may lead to disciplinary actions or removal from the community.
- Do not apply to a review event if you can not commit to reviewing all featured products within the noted time.
- Do not submit reviews that have plagiarism, images not owned by you, incorrect content, high volume of spelling/ grammar errors.
- Ask for an extension. If you apply and are accepted you have now committed to finishing your review within given time.
All who fail to submit reviews by the given time or due date will be suspended from all new review events. If suspended you must complete the action & notify [email protected] to be taken off the suspension list.
REWARDS PROGRAM GUIDELINES
Rules for the Engagement Rewards Program
This is a private program for the Beautytap Community Members
REMINDERS:
- This program, point triggers, and rules can change at any time.
- The redemption period to turn in points will open 1-3 times quarterly and will be confirmed on the BTdashboard calendar.
- Some items may be exclusive to different community members
- You can access the Rewards Program FAQ & Redemption Store HERE or in your dashboard.
THINGS NOT TO DO:
These actions may lead to disciplinary actions or removal from the community.
- Abuse of the program or efforts to generate synthetic point loads will remove you from the program.
- Faking review submissions for products you have not received from beautytap to get points
- spamming the community feed, comments, updates, or editorial in efforts to build up points.
CAMPAIGN PRODUCT & SHIPPING COMMITMENTS
Rules for the event commitments and product shipment connected
Beautytap houses many events connected to brand/ product interaction. If you are accepted you will be notified and the product sent out alongside separate tracking.
If you apply and are accepted in a product-related event, like a review event, survey or video project, you have full accepted your commitment and completion of the event requirements.
If you decide to disengage from an event, you must notify us ASAP after you have received an acceptance notification. If product has shipped without your notification of removal you will be required to complete the event you applied for.
Those who do not complete an accepted event and submit content by due date will be suspended from all further events until they complete, submit and notify Beautytap.
THINGS TO DO:
- Report any lost or stolen packages to both the postal service and beautytap. Send an image of any damaged packages
- Product will only be resent if available and if beautytap was at fault with shipping issues
- Find your tracking email from [email protected] send 2-5+ day after acceptance email for projects
THINGS NOT TO DO:
These actions may lead to disciplinary actions or removal from the community.
- Do not email issues without details and images that can help find a solution.
- YOU MAY NOT SELL ANY PRODUCT RECEIVED IN A BEAUTYTAP PROGRAM.
- Do reply to old emails for new problems. Please start a new email thread for any new issues. Please use a title format of (FirstName LastName- Shippment Issue- Campaign Name)
EXTERNAL SITES & OUTSIDE COMMUNICATION
Our education and product-related events may connect you to an External partner or site.
Beautytap has no control over communication outside of our platform.
NOTES WITH EXTERNAL SITES:
- When submitting content on an external site(Sephora, ULTA, Nordstrom, Target.com) Beautytap has no control or visibility of content submission or pending status until it is shown publically
- Content may take up to 3-7+ days for visibility and external sites may deny your content for reasons not communicated.
THINGS NOT TO DO:
These actions may lead to disciplinary actions or removal from the community.
- Do NOT message a brand partner for shipping information or shipping info. BT shipments are not connected to external partners and they have no visibility or control over shipments unless stated.
- You are not an employee of Beautytap and can not state you are a representative of beautytap. This includes all email tags and communication tags or email addresses. You do not have permission to use the beautytap logo on any correspondence. Tagging on social is accepted.
- YOU MAY NOT SELL ANY PRODUCT RECEIVED IN A BEAUTYTAP PROGRAM on any site or 3rd party site.
PUBLIC DISPLAY & CONTENT
Rules for content you create within the Beautytap platform or projects.
All content created within the Beautytap platform is owned by the creator, Beautytap & any brand partner connected. This content may be used by any of the parties at any time. Even if a brand partner or creator leaves the Beautytap Platform the content will still live on and will not be removed.
As a part of Beautytap Terms and Conditions you agreed to when you applied you have given full usage rights to Beautytap and Partnered brands.
COMMUNITY MEMBER SUSPENSION
Rules for those who are in suspended status
You come into a suspended status
All product-related events will have a due date or set amount of time you are allotted to test out the product. Those who do not submit the owed content by the due date will then be put into a suspended status and will not be able to apply for any further projects.
To be removed from suspended status you must do two things:
- Submit content (Reviews, surveys or video/ images)
- Message [email protected] with all details of owed project.
Only when the BTteam confirm you have submitted all owed you will be removed from the suspension list. Simply submitting content will not remove you from suspension status.
