Just finished voting!😊
Just tried this last night. OMG. Stopped my raging cystic hormonal pimple in its tracks. I love how this tackles a blemish in three different ways: a giant (I’m talking 5x the size of a regular swab) AHA BHA swab, a pink zinc and calamine cream, and a hydrocolloidal. Has anyone else tried Tiam’s Spot Remover Kit?
You’ve officially convinced me to try these <3
It has seriously replaced my previously go-to COSRX Master Acne Patches. They’re extra sticky to really suck out all that grossness.
You know you\’re a beauty addict when you lose your Sulwhasoo Cushion Compact in the middle of a rice field in Vietnam, and you would rather go all the way back the next day to find it than enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. What makes you a K-beauty addict?
Hope you found it in the end, lol. I know I’m a K-beauty addict when I’m physically incapable of going to sleep without double cleansing and putting at least three moisturising layers of skincare products on my skin!
I didn’t find it! 😫 So of course, on my layover in Seoul, the first thing I did was head straight to a Sulwhasoo counter and buy a refill.
Aww, at least you could get a replacement quickly! And hopefully duty free. ^.^
I did get it duty free, but did you know that Sulwhasoo is more expensive in Korea than in the U.S.? Isn’t that crazy?
:O Whaaaaa? That’s actually insane!! Does that apply to many of the other brands as well? I’ve been holding off on buying some skincare since I’ll be going to Korea in March next year but if that’s the case I might as well buy them here. 🙁
No, it’s only for Sulwhasoo as far as I know. All the other K-beauty brands are a little cheaper in Korea.
That is dedication!
For me it’s when I say to myself ‘I gotta order more of this, it’s running out’ even though there is still 50% left of product.
i hope you can able to find it
me when they play my make up kit and suddenly i saw most of my bake type make up are all broken
I didn’t find it @kbeautyholic53091. But I bought a refill in Seoul (plus like 5 more cushions) just in case! 😂
😂😂😂hahahha thats a true kbeauty addict ..i will do the same but i need to check my card first l😂😂
Korea’s duty free system is so easy and pretty painless so I stocked up while I could! (U.S. tax is so high!)
thats true in philippines also the tax is high…but here in qatar having hard time to find korean store so i mostly shop online and the waiting period is killing me hahahha
If you were gonna go to Seoul, where would you go? Need recommendations! Tag me at @annapark
Ooh, I need to follow this thread. I second the request for recommendations!
If you love shopping myeongdong and dongdaemon. If you love watching some street buskin, good food and easy shopping try hongdae. Gangnamgu area is a good place but u need to bring lots of cash haha…. so may place to love in Seoul 😙
Thanks for the recommendations @lovekathy_21. I spent 1 day in Myeongdong and 1 day on Garosugil and that took ALL my time. And I was even rushed! Thank goodness for duty free shopping at the airport. You think you have enough beauty and then all of a sudden you see … next thing you know, I have a new suitcase I’m lugging home. 😂
I filled out my Bio on my Beauty Wall! Have you filled yours out yet?
It’s a new category in your Beauty Wall! Check it out! You can let people know your skin type, skin concern, skin tone, undertone, and product preferences (no alcohol). Is my skin twin out there? 😃
Yes I filled out my Bio in beauty wall 😍😊👍🏻 It’s good idea 💕 I like it
Almost haha. Combo skin, acne prone, hyperpigmentation, but I have combo dry, not combo oily. Good luck on your skincare journey!
i,already filled 😀😀
I’ve already filled it too😊
I saw your post and filled mine out, but it would not let me click on the boxes for the skin type and skin concern. I could do the drop-down boxes, though. I don’t know if it’s an issue with my computer. . .
I have filled it a while ago. I like the idea of a Skin-twin! 😁😍
This is a great idea!
Ooh! I am going to do that now 🙂
AND it’s pink and rose gold. loooooove. Anyone tried it yet?
*impatiently waiting for my order!*
i want to try it but how was the shades? is it super light for 23 shades?
I’m ideally a 25, so the 23 was a tad light for me. But now what I do is dab the puff into the cushion once, then dab the puff into a darker foundation on the back of my hand, and not only do I get the perfect shade for me, but I get the benefits of the luminous finish of the Romand cushion. I know this because I’ve tested this mixing method with all my cushions and so far, only the Romand cushion looks that luminous and that natural while still covering my dark spots. It’s amazing. Even better than Sulwhasoo, Missha, etc.
i see i must try this one before my favorite cushion is from w.lab but i dont know where i can purchase it .then i switch to april skin…and im looking for new cushion im thinking etude house cushion but hearing your review i think i might buy the romand cushion😀😀
Such a pretty photoshoot for rom&nd~
Love the picture!
Ok, that\’s it. Romand has officially converted me away from all my other beloved cushion compacts (yes, even you, AmorePacific Age Control). Like @cocopark said, it may well be the \”find\” of the year. Of course, I have to mix it with my darker foundations to get the right color (why, 23, why?!), but it\’s worth it because seriously the finish is … like its name … like Innerlighting. 😍😍😍😍
REALLY. I need this! What would you say the shade is like?
I have a 23, but they have a 21 also. 23 is always a bit light for me (like dead of winter skin). You’d look amazing in the 21.
I’ll get my hands on it if you say so!
i love cushion so much it saves me a lot of time😀😀is 23 shades is super light?
23 is light for me @angelica. But I mix it with a darker foundation and it’s perfect! Their puff is so soft, I love it. I feel like it’s one of the best puffs out there. And I loooove the pink packaging. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging.
im currently using the 23 shades but sometimes cushion even it said 23 are sometime too lighter…what darker foundation you can recomend that blend well with it??
im also sucker for beautiful, cute packaging especially pink one..i love pink so much
Who can resist those packagings???
i think no one hahaha im tempted to purchase it😂😂😂
I\’ve been masking all week to recover from KCON, and I have to say — not unhappy with the results. 🎉 💃 🎉 We\’ll see how long this lasts … but I\’m going to enjoy it for now. Does anyone else do daily sheet masks to help their skin recover from a stressful week? What\’s your go-to mask? I\’m loving Papa Recipe Bombee, Moksha Shea Butter (did it today!), and my new love, Goodal Black Charcoal Oxygen Radiance.
I do sheet masks probably 5-6 nights a week and it makes a huge difference for me! I really like the Papa Recipe masks too, and the Chinese Medicine line from a Taiwanese brand called Maskingdom. I need to restock on hydrogels though–those are super refreshing!
I haven’t used a hydrogel in ages. Is microfiber or silk more common these days, or still the usual cotton?
Do you ever use wash-off masks instead of using sheet masks on some days? Or strictly sheet masks?
I do wash-off at night, when I’m multi-masking like every 10 days, and finish with a sheet mask. For day, I only use sheet masks because I don’t wanna wash my face like 6 times in the morning. What about you @ruthkim
I actually multi-masked last night! After cleansing with foam cleanser, I used Skinfood’s Black Sugar Mask, and after washing it off + toner, I used Moksha’s Tea Tree essence mask!
Is that Black Sugar Mask really that amazing? I’m not much of an exfoliator so I’m weak in that area. How does it compare to Moksha’s Berry or Orange mask?
I think that mask was one of my first exfoliating products. I like it because it smells delicious, and it’s really gentle on my skin (and you know me, I have weirdly sensitive skin!) I feel like Moksha’s Berry mask doesn’t necessarily exfoliate as well, but I like both the Black Sugar Mask and Orange mask equally!
Yes it is great! I like that you can change the level of exfoliation by adding water to it! When my skin is not happy but need gentle exfoliation I will add a bit of water. Otherwise I use it pure!
before i do everyday mask but rightnow with a broken tiring schedule i do only 3x a week.
I wish I could do every day, but I definitely try to do every day after a really tiring week!
me too im hoping i could to it everyday…@annapark i think the hyaluronic acid from holika holika is good together with fifty shades of snail i used it and im liking the result my skin feel hydrated and soft
Oh good, I’m so glad. I can’t live without hyaluronic acid. It’s such an important ingredient as we get older!
yes i let you know the result after a week😀😀😀
Ok, who was the one who recommended that genius trick of applying a clay mask on a pimple, sealing it with aloe, and then washing off in the morning? I want to include your tip in our next newsletter! Help!
I remember that post! I guess … good luck in going down the pages .. especially with all the KCON ones in between… haha
hahaha This will be like the miracle to find who wrote this wonderful trick 😂😂 fighting @annapark 😉✊
@sophiebxl posted on her beauty wall about using the Innisfree Super Clay Mask a few days ago! Not sure if this is the tip you recall seeing, Anna!
What a memory! Thanks so much @jerrica! (Btw, I’d love to know some of your secret tips — you’ve got so much knowledge!)
Thanks @annapark! ^___^
Oooh I think it’s a good trick but I have not tried it yet, I’ve read it from sameone but I’ve forgotten it
It was me! With a beautiful picture! 😂😂😂
This community is so great. Thanks so much guys for helping me find @sophiebxl who suggested that clay mask on a pimple overnight trick!
You are very welcome! 🙂
Did this work out? Could someone link me that article or post in which this was mentioned? It sounds ingenious.
I want try it 😍
that sheet mask i saw a lot of good review regarding this mask:-)
Allll the honey!
Phew! Now that KCON’s over (and we gave away 2,000+ gift bags!), back to the daily grind! I treated myself to a La Flor mask on Monday (heaven), a Moksha Berry Mask on Tuesday (surprisingly heavenly!), then a Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Mask (even more heaven) on Wednesday. My skin is feeling soooo good. Have you ever tried any of these masks? I love the gold honeycomb print on the Bombee mask.
You wonder woman! I don’t know any of this but I like Moksha Honey! 🙂
i tried the mosksha aloe, its so refreshing and hydrating
I haven’t tried any of them, but I will now! I’m currently mask shopping…
i tried the mosksha shea butter its so hydrating 😍👌
Moksha shea butter is my favorite of all the Moksha masks. Haha, our associate editor @ruthkim bought out the entire Moksha booth of the shea butter masks at KCON from right under my nose!!! 😂
OMG It looks like this mask sheet from moshka deserves to be your favorite and @ruthkim it’s super hero of moshka shea butter mask 😂✌
I’ve always wanted to ask my favorite beauty gurus mundane questions like, what’s every day look like for you when you’re blogging, or show me a photo of your beauty closet (’cause you know it’s gotta be drool-worthy massive). Well, now’s your chance.
Hey guys! Who’s going to KCON LA? ‘Cause W2Beauty’s going to KCON! And we’ve got so many beauty gift bags and giveaways there, it’s kinda blowing my mind. Let me know if you’re going because I would LOVE to meet you in person!
Too bad I live in 🇲🇽 😓
I can tell you guys… You’ve never seen this many freebies! o,O
That’s not nice, I just said I can’t go and now you tell me about the freebies 😓😭
Did you say free. This now has my attention haha
I can’t go! 😭
*cries* it’s a shame I don’t live in the USA. Otherwise I’d so be there!! Or at least try to be.
Aww, I wish KCON was a thing in the uK!
I wish it were, too! Then I could go to the UK again! Woo-hoo!
I wish, but I’m on the opposite coast! I hope to make it to KCON NY next year, it’s a short drive for me. 🙂
My (beauty) goal in life: To have such good skin, I can be a beauty minimalist, needing only an antioxidant-enriched facial mist and a good cushion for coverage.
I find that I go back and forth between wanting the fresh, dewy no makeup makeup “cool girl” look, and wanting full glam six eyeshadows and false lashes Instagram look. Thankfully, a base of well tended skin makes both of them even easier to attain.
I agree, Jules! I also think seasons play a huge role into how I plan out my makeup. For fall and winter I’m pretty minimal, using neutral tone shadows, a quick mini cat eye, and neutral lip. In the spring and summer though I love bright vibrant corals and shimmery shadows. I completely agree that having a clear, bright canvas though on our skin makes all the difference!
Oh, I’ll never give up my liquid liner and lip colors. They’re too fun. But yeah, I’d love to be one of those girls: Just concealer on my imperfections and I’m ready to go! Mmm, yeah. Not there yet 😂
Beauty tip I didn’t know: Back away from chemical exfoliation during the summer.
I also dropped my tretinoin this summer! It’s good to lay off of photosensitizing stuff when the sun is so strong, yes.
I’ve still been using chemical exfoliants, but mostly BHAs since my skin gets clogged from sweating so damn much! I still use AHA about once a week, but I’m also not an “outside person” in the summer, so I’m inside all day. (And my runs to the car-work-house are under 15 minutes and not during peak sun.)
I love the Goodal Water Oil! It’s definitely perfect for summer.
I limit my AHA to about once or twice a week now too. (‘Cause Coco scared the bejeezus outta me. 😂) BHAs are ok for summer tho, thank goodness.
you can pry my chemical exfoliants from my cold, dead hands. LOLOLOL! I know it’s bad but my skin is a mess if I don’t use lactic acid like 3x a week, lol!
Ha! Well if anyone knows what they’re doing with those, it’s YOU!
I share @jude-chao‘s sentiment. It’s clearly working for you @sherylldonersongmail-com.
A little about me …
hormonal acne-prone (yes, still)
I never thought I had sensitive skin, but I think I\’m starting to …
Hyperpigmentation is my (other) big issue
Same here! But what I hate most is the hormonal acne…
Because *sigh* nothing topical can really totally stop hormonal acne. I’ve had great success with K-beauty — hydration is key; at least the skin around my breakout looks great, hahahaha. And the COSRX master patches make my breakouts less unbearable … What do you use for yours?
And I thought your typical GRWM video made me feel like a bumbling fool …
I’m #1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10. What are you?
💯 literally 10/10 🙈
I bow to you!
Just did the Moksha tea tree mask in my 1-day-1-pack detox this week to fight hormonal breakouts. Skin feeling plush and hydrated.

My fave K-beauty products? Man, that’s an ever-changing, ever-growing list. Right now, I can’t get enough of Swanicoco Centella Asiatica Salve. The texture is wholly unique (think whipped souffle gel), not at all sticky, and cools and calms my skin instantly.
