I have a passion for makeup, skin, and hairdressing. I have been in the industry for 13 years, with 9 of those years being an owner of a bridal makeup and hairdressing agency. I also started my own makeup line focusing on natural, quality ingredients and performance. I have learned so much from business ownership. I started my business from the ground up, mixing makeup formulas in my basement and selling them at the local Farmer’s Market and online. I gained my Cosmetology license after college from the Aveda Institute in Des Moines, Iowa. I love my Aveda network, it has allowed me to attend and participate in New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week! I am forever grateful for these experiences and can't wait to go back! It was these Aveda roots that propelled me to create a natural makeup line. Over the years, I have had many great opportunities to use my craft. I have done makeup for FOX News anchors and reporters at NASCAR and the World Series. I love creating beauty content! My degree in Broadcast Journalism has given me insight into how to better share my beauty knowledge. I am excited to be a part of the Beauty Tap team and look forward to growing in this industry and helping others grow as well! I originally started my beauty industry journey while in college at the University of Kansas. I started a vlog featuring products I loved. It's wild to see that 13 years later I am doing the same thing but on a broader scale, with an audience all over the world. I know this is only possible with the help from Beauty Tap!
