I have a question about exfoliation… I want this to be an open topic specifically about OVER- exfoliation. How do you know? How do you fix it and how to prevent it? I think I am going through that now but I am not sure it’s just an inkling because it the only thing I have been doing every day. I have an exfoliating toner and it was great for the first two weeks now I am experiencing texture on my skin that is hard to explain. It’s like small bumps but they aren’t pimples they are more skin-colored bumps. Any advice would be wonderful! Thank you<3
Lately, during Summer, I have noticed that my skin gets SO RED when it’s hot outside. It’s never been an issue for me but this year it is. I live in Texas so it’s also humid here and my skin DOES NOT like the heat. I finally got myself an aloe plant because everyone needs one! ( they’re fairly easy to take care of and they are such generous plants, they clean air and help with various skin and hair issues). I have been putting the cut aloe leaf in the fridge and whenever I know I am going outside for a long time (anywhere from 2-4 hrs) AS SOON as I get home I cut the aloe in half and rub it into my skin and INSTANTLY get relief from the heat.
