I'm a 20-something Asian female with combination skin. My main worries are controlling T-zone oil, minimizing nasolabial fold wrinkles, and reducing the appearance of pores. I've used Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese beauty products to moderate success. My skin's loved honey and bee products, snail mucin (duh), aloe, ceramide, tea tree, vitamin C and A derivatives, and more.
Ooh, looks like we could be skin twins! Any sensitivity?
At times, yes! I haven’t figured them all out yet, but I had a terrible outbreak of pimples when trying marula oil for the first time. It was like a mine field lol. What about you?
I totally agree with the above! Some additions would be:
– being able to search community posts so people can see if their questions have already been answered
– a category for products which have won awards (like the klairs supple preparation facial toner and the Clio brush eyeliner)
– not really related to the site but an update of the app to incorporate the community and editorial sections to enable people to view and comment through the app rather than sign in on a browser would be awesome!
Ooo I love the idea of finding already answered questions! It’d make things so much easier! I know there’s a Reddit low pH cleanser list, but it’d be cool if W2 would as well for other things like toners and acne treatments ppl have used. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I hope some of them go through for us!
I have feelings on both these things, and the team is working on them! But feedback like yours helps speed the process, so thanks for sharing ^^
Glad to know, Jude! Thanks for letting us know. ^_^
Yes, same feelings here, good to know that they are working on it! 😁
This is so true ! I would love to complement this with an article on how to better choose your cleansers too :p At least, better understand the whole pH behind it 🙂
Is pH Testing Your Cleanser the Secret to Better Skin? Here’s How to Do It
So true! I rarely use a high pH cleanser. My skin feels softer for the most part without them. I do like Ciracle’s Blackhead soap for blackheads/acne, though; not sure what it’s pH is since I don’t have strip or a meter, but it gives that squeaky-clean that I sometimes need for big pimples lol. My favorite low pH cleansers so far have been Innisfree’s Blueberry and Acwell’s nonfoaming cleansing gel!
