As a dual-licensed barber and cosmetologist, I bring a unique blend of expertise to my craft. At Clyde’s Barbershop, we are not only dedicated to providing top-notch services, but also to making a positive impact in our community. We are proud to be a Wigs For Kids Affiliate, supporting children in need. Additionally, we actively support a range of community programs and events. As an Official Reuzel Dealer, we offer premium hair care products to enhance our clients’ grooming experience. As a licensed cosmetologist since 2016 and a licensed barber since 2020, I have honed my skills and knowledge over the years. Prior to establishing Clyde’s Barbershop, I gained valuable experience working as a beauty consultant or beauty advisor at reputable establishments such as Sephora, Carson Pirie Scott, and Walgreens Beauty. Also, my past experience as a hair stylist includes Sport Clips, Tricoci Salon, JC Penney Salon, and Rudy's Barbershop. These diverse experiences have allowed me to refine my techniques and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry. Before embarking on my journey as a barber and cosmetologist, I enjoyed a successful career as a freelance and lead makeup artist for a major talent agency in Chicago from 2004 to 2016. During this time, I had the privilege of working with numerous models, collaborating with exceptional photographers, and partnering with renowned fashion designers. From studio shoots to on-location projects, I have had the opportunity to showcase my skills in both makeup artistry and hair styling. With a passion for my craft and a commitment to providing exceptional services, I strive to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere at Clyde’s Barbershop.
