As a Licensed Esthetician and Beauty Consultant, I have tried brands and felt intrigued by this one—YANGU Beauty. Why? I loved the packaging and loved how felt applying the products. YANGU Beauty has YMB complex composed of oils found in Africa, and is supposed to help with hyperpigmentation while keeping the skin soft and moist. Most of all, it is great for those with sensitive skin. I tried the Gel to Milk Cleanser and massaged it onto my skin before rinsing it off. This is great for oily skin as it tightens the pores. I definitely noticed that after I rinsed it off my face. I definitely recommend a toner to follow before applying the Finishing Night cream. The cream appeared more den[Read more]
You will not be disappointed with Pharmagel products–Hydracleanse, Enzyme Ex-cell, and DN-24 Hydracreme. All three products worked great on my combination skin. As a Licensed Esthetician, keeping my skin smooth, firm, and shiny matters. I would recommend it to Normal-Oily and Normal-Dry skin. It does what it promotes….hydration….
The Hydracleanse is a milky cleanser that cleans as well as minimize the lines on the face. It is gently and no annoying odor to it. I would recommend it to sensitive skin too. The Enzyme Ex-cell scrub is gently as well to deep clean and exfoliate the skin; it contains papaya which helps in the skin radiate. If you did a home facial treatment, I would recom[Read more]
There is one thing I can vouch for is products that are great for both thin and thick hair. When I attended an esthetician program, hair was briefly discussed with the exception of hair removal. Today we are not planning to remove out hair only taking care of that full head of hair we have.
I am so in love with this product called Tangle Buster Detangler. It is like a comb/brush. Why do I love it? It is gentle enough to detangle my wet hair considering my hair is fine and thin. Afterwards, I tried it on my hair. Love it! It works as a brush except it won’t flatten out your waves. I do not know about you but free the waves is my type of style.
The bonus of this product is that I felt a fi[Read more]
I am not a cosmetologist but a Licensed Esthetician. Your scalp should be taken of as much as your hair. The scalp is part of your skin. A lot of times the scalp collects residue with all the styling products one uses to hold or shape a style.
I tried the Grow Gorgeous’ product–Defence. Defence is a detoxifying scalp scrub. I never used a scrub on my scalp up until now. It was a different, unique experience.
I felt my scalp tingle. As I continued to massage this into my scalp, I could feel the deep cleaning being done. Just like if were a facial scalp, I do not advise to do this daily. Maybe twice a week. I would also like to add to thoroughly rinse this product off. It took longer to wa[Read more]
Being a Licensed Esthetician, I deal with face and body treatments. Body treatments are becoming more popular these days to help firm and tighten the skin with hopes of minimizing stretch marks in addition to slimming down. I checked out this product , Mama Mio’s Tummy Rub Butter, to see if it actually works.
Mama Mio is actually a pregnancy skin care line that its products contain Omega rich complex. The purpose of the Omega-rich complex is to increase elasticity and add additional moisture. Although I am not pregnant, some areas of my skin have slight marks due to changes in weight up and down throughout the past few years. My marks are around my hip areas. Although it is not too prominen[Read more]
I worked as a Make-Up Artist/Beauty Consultant for about 6 years before leading to my Esthetics license. My clients were always critical when it came to mascara and eyeliner products. Were they dark enough? Do they dry or bleed right away? Is it is too handle when applying? And so much more. I tested Eyeko London’s products, “Eye Do liquid eyeliner” and “Black Magic mascara”. Love both products. The liquid eyeliner is easy to hold and great pointer to ensure smooth lining. The ink is jet black and beautiful! As for the mascara, I love it. It appears that it lengthens my lashes besides curls. It is noticeably blackens and thickens the lashes. Both products are easy to take off but also do not[Read more]
Just tried on the AZN LAB hydrogel eye patches. I love the look of the eye patches and it easy to place on the eyes as well as easy on the skin. It did leave the under eye area dewy.
However, the dewiness left a residue that was not soft enough for make-up. I had to wipe off the excess then put on my favorite eye serum and cream before adding on corrector and concealer.
There are eye patches that one can use before putting on make-up. This is not one of them. At first, I thought I would reject this project until the next day. I woke up in the morning, my circles were barely visible. Just like some of you, I suffer from dark circles. I am not sure whether it is genetics or not enou[Read more]
