What are some of your favorite cushions? I haven’t used one before, but I want to so I can reapply sunscreen throughout the day. I also don’t quite understand the colors. Are there any that are close to translucent? I figure the color wouldn’t matter so much if it’s very lightweight. Thanks!
Hi Kara ! At the moment I’m using 3 cushions , all from different brands ( laneige, iope and sandawha). The one from Sandawha has less coverage compared to the other two and a very dewy finish . You can only choose the undertone for that one . For the Laneige and Iope cushions, I use the shade 21 which corresponds to the colour « beige » . Even though it says beige, the colour is quite light. Unfortunately I’m note sure if it corresponds to a MAC 20/25 or not ( for those who do know, let me know if my estimate is right or not^^) . For the laneige and iope cushions you can pick a different undertone and finish. It will depend on what you’re looking for. All three are great cushions…[Read more]
I’m so excited for you!
I’ve tried Iope, Romand, and the Hera UV Cushion. If you’re looking for coverage, then I would definitely recommend the Romand cushion. I think their shades are a bit lighter compared to other brands (so their no. 23 is more like a no. 21). If you’re looking for more of a dewy look, then Hera is the way to go! It’s a lot more translucent and keeps your skin moisturized throughout the day. I would say Iope comes right in between.
Is the Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser similar to the Glow Recipe Blueberry Cleanser? I’ve tried the Glow Recipe one, but didn’t love it – has anyone tried both? I feel like I should try the Innisfree one no matter what since it’s so cheap, though!
I haven’t tried the Glow Recipe one, but another editor here has and she says the pH is way too high! She didn’t like it at all. I’ve tried the Innisfree Blueberry (after a year of using the COSRX Low pH Good Morning, which I love), and it’s been a great cleanser so far! I’d say it’s very comparable to the COSRX one.
I haven’t, but @judechao has and she didn’t like the Eclado ginseng ampoule (consistency was a problem apparently. She can tell you more (tagging her here), but she liked the Swanicoco Plant Stem Pure Ampoule as an alternative to the Sulwhasoo Ginseng serum.
usually you will know by the ingredients/ and/or title of the product. Toners like innisfree olive real oil skin, and the Klairs supple preparation facial toner are examples.
Look for the specifications of the Toner, hydrating is a feature that usually is advertised on beauty products so it should be there and like chocolategirlkbw said, the ingredients also help you find out if it helps you hydrate your skin
Hi! I love creamy sheet masks! I used the Etude House 0.2 Ceramide Therapy Air Mask yesterday which has a creamy esesence, and it was really nice and hydrating.
Hello! I am excited to find such a welcoming community! I have only really been into K-beauty for a little over a year, but I have fallen for it HARD. I\’m looking forward to finding out about new brands and products!

Awesome! I love the Cosrx cleanser, and if I can get one similar to it that smells like blueberries, I’m in!
