Well, Stowaway Cosmetics has just
released a set of four face items that are each only...
It’s officially winter weather as of this week. Time to break out the heavy moisturizers!
I have been away too long! I finally worked through all the samples from my last box, so I guess it’s time to order another.
We missed talking to you!
I started applying my products with beauty blenders. Everything feels so much more even and I get way less pilling with my sunscreen! I highly recommend it. If you don’t have beauty blenders, I bet a cushion would get the same result.
I do the same thing, Liz! I am tempted to try a sunscreen cushion however I have so many sunscreens that I would want to use up before buying something new.
I feel you there. I have three more tubes of my favorite lined up, though I will be in search of a good waterproof sunscreen eventually.
Hi liz im using the cushion puff to put my sunscreen..but i try next time using the beauty blender nice idea😃😃
Me too، l use the beauty blender for sunscreen It’s better than cushion
I’m going to try this!!
Wait, like our Silicone beauty blender or more like a sponge type one ? (not trying to advertise, real honest question haha)
W2Beauty Silicone Sponge Blender
I use a sponge, I don’t have a silicone one (yet).
Yup, I even out my sunscreen application with a clean cushion puff! I just smear the sunscreen on (with a little extra to compensate for any that gets absorbed by the puff) then pat all over. It works great!
Western products, kbeauty sensibilities. This will be my new minimal look, for sure.
I love the glasses !
I\’m picking out products for my husband (😍) and he says he wants a bar soap. I\’m picking out a moisturizer, too. He can use my sunscreen, I have plenty of backups. He has sensitive skin, and right now he is crazy oily, but he washes his face with body or hand soap, so I don\’t know what his skin type really is. Any recommendations? I\’ll link some products I\’m thinking of, too.
Missha For Men Sebum Breaker Fluid
Holika Holika Egg Soap Special Set 4pcs
Noooo tell him nooooo 🙂 bar soap no nono :p
if his skin is really oily, try this one : https://w2beauty.com/product/troiareuke-acsen-oil-cut-cleansing/
it definitely helped me (and it’s easier to use than a bar soap too ;p)
My husband absolutely LOVES the SanDaWha men’s green tea line, and he’s a beauty snob (well, for a guy) because he gets to try so many different brands through me. With the right cleanser, your husband just might realize he’s not crazy oily anymore!
I have the feeling that his skin is more on the dry side, and he’s just been too harsh with it.
Purchasing products for significant others is always fun! I got my boyfriend the CosRx Power Cream and Blackhead Power Liquid and his skin transformed! Plus I love that CosRx is super affordable for products that WORK.
After this weekend, I felt like a clean start to the week, so I did Fiddy’s pore cleansing routine. It was wonderful!
When you go to bed without washing your face, and you wake up the next morning in a pool of sebum and regret…
Even if i’m super drunk, the very least I will do is a makeup wipe. But the next morning I definitely feel bad!
The only thing I can be thankful for was that I only had sunscreen on.
hahaha … does it apply to guys as well?
The gif haha!
hahah funny! Definitely gotta wash my face
Tonight’s skincare routine. Cleanser and exfoliant on top, hydration on the left, and occlusives on the right.
The full list: Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil, CosRx Low pH Good Morning Hell Cleanser, CosRx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, Hada Labo Gokujyun Lotion, CosRx Advanced 96 Snail Mucin Power Essence, Dermal Collagen Essence Mask in Green Tea, Mizon Black Snail All in One Cream, CosRx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask, and Rimmel some sort of lip balm in Apricot.
Extra kudos to the first person to point out my wonderful typo. 😆
I have a sunscreen question!
Most of the sources I find say that you need to reapply every two hours. If I\’m outside getting sweaty, I don\’t wear base makeup and I will reapply as necessary. But if I do wear makeup, what then? I honestly don\’t reapply every day, because I spend nearly all my time indoors. I\’m curious about what everyone else does.
I love the supergoop setting spray with SPF 50. I got the mini travel size at Sephora and keep it in my bag. It wears well over makeup! I love it.
On the average day, I don’t reapply since I’m mostly indoors. If it’s a day spent outside, I do. But also, my “makeup” only consists of lips and brows.
Ilia have a great powder sunscreen , i find powder sunscreens perfect if I’m wearing any makeup. So many of the mists contain alcohol and irritate my skin 😭
Well like you, I know it’s important to reapply every two to three hours for maximum protection, but applying it once you have your make up on can be tricky. But hopefully, this tips are useful to you:
1. The easiest way to make sure you’re reapplying SPF is to always use a foundation base that has adequate SPF, this usually means to find a foundation that feels lightweight and contains at least SPF 30. An option for this is to use a BB cushions, they usually feature up to SPF 50 in protection, and with their on-the-go convenience, they make it super easy to add extra sun protection during the day.
2. If you don’t like cushions look for easy-to-use brush on mineral sun…[Read more]
It really depends on which sunscreen you are using. You see there are two things to be considered when you choose sunscreen. SPF and PA. There are two types of ultraviolet rays, UVA and UVB. You need to protect your skin from both. SPF (sun protection factor) is for UVB. SPF 1= about 15 min protection UVB. So, if you are using SPF 20, then it will protect the skin from UVB for about 300 min (5 hours). PA is for UVA. There are “+” mark in PA level and PA+ is about 2-4 hours of protection, ++ is 4-8 hours, +++ is more than 8 hours of protection. Since I am using SPF 45, PA+++ sunscreen, I only reapply make up, not sun screen again. Hope this helps you.
After my morning routine, and my FOTD. I can’t quite decide if I have a youthful glow or I look greasy. 😅
Glowy, not greasy! There’s a fine line but you haven’t crossed it.
Your skin looks wonderful!
I vote youthful glow. Cute glasses, too.
Thanks! They are my favorite accessory.
I love your eye makeup! Simple but the colour makes it pop!
Thank you! This is my go-to “I’m too lazy for real makeup” look.
Glowing! I’m so jealous of your brows, too!
Tonight’s skincare lineup. I did a short facial massage, and I’m working on the sheet mask right now. 💆🐌😌
I\’m struggling between planning a new haul and knowing that I already have products to add into my routine. Maybe I\’ll do a cosmetics and hair haul and leave the skincare for next time.
I first got into K-beauty through Fanserviced-b, Fifty Shades of Snail, and Snow White and the Asian Pear. I think I found links to their blogs on Reddit. I am still learning a lot, especially because my skin changed from youthful and maintenance free to dry, acne prone, and wrinkled almost overnight. My favorite brand right now is CosRx, because their stuff works and won\’t make my checking account cry.
