I like to mix my Aztec Indian Clay masks with matcha green tea powder (or just straight, wet green tea leaves) and oatmeal. The green tea helps the clay fight off acne and the oatmeal is great for keeping your skin moisturized after the harsh clay mask.
A life saver for puffy eyes and irritated skin is by putting cold, wet green tea bags on your eyes or the irritated skin for 5-10 mins. Its also great for under-the-eye bags since its has fire anti-aging properties. Its like an earthy, moist kiss from Mother Nature!
A cheap, long-lasting, and proven to work teeth whitener? Hydrogen peroxide! Swish a teaspoon with some water in your mouth for one minute and rinse after to get whiter teeth as each day goes along, all without breaking the bank or ruining your teeth. HEAVY CAUTION! Do NOT swallow the hydrogen peroxide. See a doctor immediately if you do.
Usually when I have a break out or even the slightest pimple, I’m extremely careful not to bombard it with different skincare products. Fighting your acne isn’t actually a battle, but rather a vacation for your skin, sometimes calling for you to use less harsh or heavy chemicals instead of a full arsenal cleansers. I play it safe with my sensitive skin by skipping a facewash all together and simply using all natural witch hazel and a gentle, organic moisturizer to effectively clean off the blemish and lightly moisturize it without clogging the pores even more.
A good, natural, and cheap treatment for eczema and other dry skin problems is actually OATMEAL! By adding water to a non-flavored oatmeal (don’t you dare grab that cinnamon apple), mixing it until it’s a nice paste, and then leaving it on the area for about 15 minutes, you’ll notice your irritation is soothed as well as your skin smoothed. All for less than five bucks and no harsh chemicals!
