Discover beauty through professional reviews
Hi beautiful! Follow me, let's be friends:) I am a skincare and makeup lover who has over 5 years of experience with brands like MAC Cosmetics, Lancome, & Estee Lauder. I started doing my own makeup when I was about 12 years old, and I love teaching people how to do simple or complex looks. For me, makeup & skincare are all about feeling beautiful. Skincare is the canvas for great makeup, but should also help you achieve your dream skin for days you don't want to bother with makeup application. The makeup is just the cherry on top, the extra bit of sparkle to make you feel EXTRA special- but YOU are the magic ingredient.

Saturday Skincare tip:
You can create your own steam facial experience at home by boiling water and adding essential oils. This is one of my favorite skincare tips before applying a mask especially. Boil some water (I usually fill my pot up halfway), and add your favorite essential oil like lavender. While taking care not to burn or splash yourself with the hot water, bring your face close enough to the pot to feel the steam. Use a small hand towel to create a shade around your face so that steam hits you directly. Allow your face to steam for about 5 minutes and then apply your favorite mask. Don’t forget to turn the stove off first!
One of my fave tricks that I do every time I wear makeup is mudging out my pencil eyeliner for a less harsh eyeliner look. After I apply a waterproof black eyeliner, I’ll go over the edges with a dark brown, matte eyeshadow. You can use any tapered or thin brush for this. It really softens the liner and gives a more smoked-out effect.
