The BodyWaver from Calista is a double-barrel styling tool is supposed tp delivers fast volume and perfect waves that last. Double barrel plates style hair into 1.25" waves and are coated with ceramic and tourmaline to deliver fast, consistent heat. This device has a built in heat styling timer that provides three timing options (four, six, or eight seconds) indicating how long to hold each wave, limiting heat exposure, and ensuring styling remains consistent. I wanted to love this tool, but it did not work for me. I think that maybe it is too large for most hair lengths, and it had to be at about 460 degrees for it to even hold. I appreciated the packaging, and maybe if my hair was straight, or longer, it would have created a nice waive, but I have hair that is about shoulder length, and it just seemed to make my hair dry, and the waves did not last.

I’m giving 4 Stars because anyone that may be a beginner with less skills may have to practice a couple times to get the hang of it. As a Professional Stylist I do feel these are a great option for at home hairstyles and would definitely recommend them to clients! These Flip Clips are made with some serious quality. They are extremely sturdy and have a nice tight feeling while being worn. The pins are double rather than a single prong which also helps with tight grip in the hair. I am pleasantly surprised with the durability of these and excited to continue using and talking about them!&nbsp;
