I received this product complimentary from Columbia Skincare this an innovative topical probiotic serum that is suppose to accelerate and improve the skin renewal process. Now this product does retail for $190 for 1 fluid oz. The fist thing that I noticed was the packaging which was very sleek. Instead of a pump to dispense the product you get a dropper. I tested it on my dry over washed hands that are rough. I noticed a slight fragrance. I was getting a floral rose vibe from the smell. After I worked it into my hand I noticed that the fragrance of this serum faded. But it made that back of my hand smoother. That night I went and used this as my serum for about a month. I noticed that my skin appeared to be a little more hydrated. However, I did not notice a major improvements on my smile lines that I was hoping for.

I recieved this product for consideration by the brand + beautytap in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.I have dry, sensitive skin that is prone to redness and breakouts. I also live in the upper midwest where it is cold and dry a lot of the time. Especially lately, my skin has been dry and tight, breaking out way more than usual. I started using this serum under my moisturizer during the day when I wear a full face of makeup. Normally, my skin is dry, tight, and itchy just a few hours after applying my makeup. I slather on thick, heavy creams pretty religiously because of this. I didn't find that my skin felt any less dry by the end of the day, however I enjoyed using this product because of how my skin looks without makeup. I felt glowy, hysdrated, and SIGNIFICANTLY less red and irritated looking. I think it helped with the flakiness of my skin while my blemishes are healing. The one downfall however, is the smell. Its definitely strong and not pleasant. I didn't find the scent to last long however so I will continue using it.

As an esthetician and a makeup artist for so many years I was so excited to try this amazing product from Columbia Skin care called probiotic concentrate. The product itself on the packaging is nice and I highly recommend it to people that do not have sensitive skin. The formula of the serum is very nice and lightweight and it absorbs right into the skin. But after a few days of using this product I noticed some texture on my skin which was weird. This product is supposed to plump and hydrate the skin which I felt like it did but do to me having sensitive skin it unfortunately cause texture and some breakouts. This is still a great product for individuals that do not suffer from you or breakouts or texture. I highly recommend it to people that do not suffer from acne prone skin.
