I'm fairly new to regular retinol use as a 7 year verified beauty expert, as I am often in the sun and so use retinol every other night or limit it use if out in the sun continuously. This .1% was a fantastic way to dive in and its gentle/creamy enough to not irritate the skin. I found it was easy to apply a pea size in the evening, it did not leave my skin dry or flaky. I would add an additional layer after the retinol, just to seal in the retinol. In the morning, my skin was plump, moisturixzed and over the 30 days, I saw a lightening of my dar spots and my pores appeared smaller. My skin was noticeably softer and my skin appeared brighter. I am excited to find a gentle formulation to slowly strengthen my skin barrier and I love the visible anti-aging effects of the retinol.

The COSRX The Retinol 0.5 Oil is like no other! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this oil, my skin is pretty used to retinol as I’ve been using it for acne before. So I did not think that I would see much difference as most of the time retinol comes in a cream form not an oil. I absolutely love this oil! I was shocked but not surprised at how great this oil worked for me. I thought it’s a facial oil (love) and retinol (also love) how could this not be amazing? And I was correct. It gave me such an amazing glow every morning I felt like my skin looked amazing and flawless.I started using it every night, and like I said before, my skin int new to retinol so I was Anel to get away with that but if your skin is not used to retinol or you have never used any retinol products before. Then please start out with just using it once or twice a week.So with that being said, I saw a difference in the texture of my skin. I have a lot of scaring and redness from years of dealing with acne so this serum helped reduce that and add a nice glow to my skin.I love this serum and definitely would suggest this to anyone who is looking to try out a retinol product. It’s pretty good for beginners since it’s in a lovely oil it won’t be too rotating.

This is my first time useing retinol and I am just turned 24 year old. My skin has been more on the dry side especially during the winter. I received a resurfacing chemical peel and then 2 weeks later started using the retinol. My skin feels so smooth after 3 weeks of using it ! Howeve in the very beginning my skin did break out in parts of my face that it has never done like near my eyebrow and my cheeks . This is a really nice product and a little goes a long way. It still looks like I barely used the products after applying only at night for 2-3 times a week for 3 weeks! I also use the snail mucin essence just about everyday other than cleanser, moisturizer and spf. My skin looks more even toned and can definitely tell a difference with texture.
