I was really excited to try this Double Dip: Coconut &amp; Almond shampoo and conditioner bars. Let me tell you the lather was that of perfect consistency, and the smell is amazing and refreshing. Left my hair feeling really clean and smelling great! The shampoo bar helped my dry brittle hair, since I do wash my hair everyday it has been stripped of most nutrients. With this product it's safe for everyday use. I definitely noticed my hair was looking healthier without stripping as much as the products I would use. I love trying new types of products and I had never tried any kind off solid shampoo and conditioner before. The packaging for this brand is so cute with a retro vibe. It says on the box to prime the bar for the first use and lather in your hands. I have very thick hair so I really tried to get a good amount of later going before rubbing it onto my hair. I concentrated on the roots first and worked to the ends. It was a less bubbly formula than I’m used to. I followed with applying the conditioner bar in a similar fashion. It has a nice light and tropical fragrance. It rinses with a clean feel. My hair felt cleansed and soft and shiny after. This would be great for travel or the beach. I would like to see a matching storage box for the bars after opening and using to keep clean and dry. It’s definitely a good option for those who hold sustainability and less waste as a priority.
