I am a professional makeup artist and a huge fan of Patrick Ta Beauty. I was super excited to get my hands on the Major Skin Hydra-Luxe Luminous Skin Perfecting Foundation, and after testing it for 2 weeks here is my verdict. The foundation is great for that effortless supermodel glow look, it contains skincare ingredients like Triple Hyaluronic Acid and Squalene that help to nourish the skin and add the glow without adding glitter in the formula. I have dry skin and it worked pretty well for me, by mid day the skincare gets absorbed and it becomes more of a natural satin finish. The foundation is light to buildable medium coverage. For a more dewy look I applied it with a buffing brush, and if I wanted more coverage and less glow, the sponge works better. I put 4 start because if you have visible pores or oily skin, this foundation will accentuate it and unfortunately will not work for you. It is a great fit for those with dry skin and fine lines, since it has dewy finish and adds moisture to the skin, it will look glowy and effortless.

As an acne-prone, oily skin girl, I usually go for matte finishes; however, I love to try foundations like these because sometimes they can give you a beautiful glow without that shiny look we normally fear. This foundation was exactly what I was hoping for! It feels lightweight on my skin and blends out nicely with a buildable coverage. It might look shiny at first, but trust, you just need to apply a good setting powder on top! Once set, the finish is absolutely gorgeous and glowy! It makes my skin look so radiant and provides a subtle highlight on the high points of my face. When I wear a foundation like this, I will keep a mini setting powder on me to touch up throughout the day. It’s also worth mentioning that I did not experience any breakouts using this. If you normally go for a matte look, I recommend trying this out for a change of pace!&nbsp;

As a Beauty Enthusiast for the last fifteen years, finding a good foundation can be the most challenging task. I have a oily skin base on my facial barrier, and I'm always looking for a hydrating and mattifying foundation. Patrick Ta is the only foundation I have found, with these aspects to it. The hyaluronic acid works wonders on the skin, whilst also hydrating. I have suffered from adult acne vulgaris for the last fifteen years, and this is the only foundation that has been able to actively cover up the scarring of my facial barrier. I can't say enough good things about the wonderful radiant finish, this brand matches my Vegan values,the medium coverage is more like full coverage.,tand this would be best for Dry, Combo, or Normal Skin. I will absolutely recommend this to everyone I know!
