The key to a good blowout is the product you use. I was thrilled when I found out I had the opportunity to test the Prive shining weightless amplifier. After learning about the brand Prive I was thrilled to hear they base their company on clean beauty with quality ingredients. I really love the sleek black-and-white color scheme that they use for their products. The product itself is a thicker gel-like foam however it goes on so lightweight like a serum. I was shocked when I first used this product because of how cold it is when 1st dispensed. After I am done blow-drying my hair, I notice a difference in the shine and volume. If you are looking for a lightweight all-in-one blow drying mousse this is the product for you. I do want to add you cannot have overly thick hair and expect this product to work the same.&nbsp;

I’m a bone straight fine hair girl, like the kind that doesn’t hold a blow dry or iron curl (cries). It does not matter how tight I curl or how long I let my hair set. I turn around and magically it is straight and limp again. Sadly I have resigned myself to overnight heartless styles and really cutie updos. I cannot keep my hopes up for a maintained iron curl, so I tuck my hot tools away thinking one day, one day!! I will have lasting volume and curl and shine. While I have yet to try this product with hot tools (I have trust issues)and it’s summer) I have given it a whirl with curl rods. I applied a gold ball root to tip on bareeeely damp hair I’m taking very much dry, twisted it up, and to my surprise I have volume days later! I’ll take it!

Prive shining weightless amplifier, you did NOT disappoint!! Going from medium to thick hair all my life to now having thinner and much less amount of hair over the last year has been so upsetting, so I am all about any hair products that can give and add volume and make my hair look thicker and better! I used two pumps and saturated it through all of my towel dried hair and blowdried my hair with my blowdryer brush which usually doesn’t give the most volume. As soon as I was done, I was shocked and very impressed with how much volume my hair and roots had! I didn’t even use a frizz serum or product after as it wasn’t needed! I definitely saw shine to my hair, but I wouldn’t say it was a huge difference. What I loved most about this product was how it really didn’t feel like I used anything in my hair and how well it worked by itself and made my hair looked like it was professionally blowdried! I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to lift their roots and achieve overall volume to their hair!

As a hairstylist, I’m very particular about products, especially volumizers. I’ve tried most brands and most products. For volume, I definitely prefer either a foam or spray. I thought this product was ok. I hated the smell. It started sweet, but got kind of sour. I also thought the consistency was wrong, it felt a little ‘thick’. It starts as a foam and as instructed i ‘emulsified’ it and it turned into a liquid. When it’s blown into the hair, it does make creating volume pretty easy. The volume seemed to last. But I didn’t feel there was much shine. If you air dry, you will feel crunchy, but it does break up easily. If you have fine hair and blow dry your hair, this would probably work ok for you, but I definitely think there are better products
