This toner is amazing! Hello Beauties! I am a master esthetician with 20+ years experience in medical, spa and the retail world. I love multi-purpose products like this because you will not only get a toner that will balance your skin, but you'll also receive a toner that does so much more! This toner will give you daily exfoliation with a 4.5% AHA from sugar cane. This lovely toner gently resurfaces and helps to eliminate dead skin cells. It is also enriched with a Beta-hydroxy acid, willow bark. This ingredient is a form of aspirin, so it will tighten your pores and prevent future breakouts. The power of azelic acid will brighten your skin and reduce hyper-pigmentation in just a week. After a week, I noticed tighter and brighter skin! It also have a beautiful aroma therapy that relaxes and calms the senses.

I am a huge fan of toners in general and it is probably the number 1 addition to a beauty routine I recommend for all my clients (especially the men). However I was fairly disappointed by this toner from REN. I love the brand and that they are sustainable and 100% cruelty free, however I won't continue using this toner. I do love the high amount of AHA and BHA to encourage exfoliation and skin renewal, but I have to say, I did not notice a huge difference after several weeks of use. I would definitely recommend not using this daily as the concentration is fairly high and on top of that, I would recommend avoiding this right before going outside into the sun. On top of that I was really put off by the smell. To me, it smelled like rotting fruit and that is not something I want to apply directly under my nose.

Hi I am a mature beauty blogger ..age 52 &amp; I was very excited to test this formulation out. I love using clean skincare and this brand is one of the first in the industry. This tonic is very fresh and has a nice scent. I have hyperpigmentation on my cheekbones that bother me during the summer months so I was looking for something gentle on the skin. I use this with a cotton ball &amp; gently pat on skin. This is a bit strong so a little goes a long way. Do not use a lot of product. it has willow bark to help speed up cell renewal which is a must with aging skin.Lactic acid also helps with exfoliating the skin gently. I do notice that quite a bit of dead skin is on the cotton pad even after thorough cleansing of the skin. The reason i mostly wanted to test this product is the azelic acid ...to help brighten any of those dark spots &amp; brighten up the complexion. I was using this daily but due to the change of weather i have back downed to 3times a week oreferly when i know its going to be raining. Just to avoid sun exposure with this product. I have noticed my pores look smaller, brighter skin and overall my complexion is glowy. I also use this on my elbows knees and ankles to help that skin turnover..esp in dark spots. Highly recommend..it is pricey but you do get a lot of product for the price. Great on mature skin. Just a further update this does not help reduce my brown spots since I have been back out in sun even with sunblock. I feel they look just as dark again. I will try and use in evening to see if it lightens the spots again.

The brand REN has been a favorite of mine for a while now, ever since I needed an effective skincare brand to use when I was pregnant over 11 years ago. It is a very no-frills, yet effective skincare product that fits beautifully into my routine. It's a nice gentle, daily exfoliator thats not abrasive or too strong. On me, it doesn't sting or burn but also keep in mind I don't use it if I have broken skin or any dry irritated patches. I also like to use it on my neck to prep for my skicare products. If you use too much it can be a LITTLE sticky tho, so be mindful of that.
