This Luxurious Sustainable Lip Balm Is Saving The Planet – And It’s About To Be Everywhere

The SuLu Variety Set is nice environmentally friendly lip balm set! I have been a Licensed Cosmetologist for over 17 years and I suffer with dry lips every winter. These came in just in time. The push up tube took a little getting used to but I am all for it as it is recyclable. I also love that these are also vegan, organic and cruelty free. I have to say my two favorites of the three were the original and spearmint. It may just be me but I didn’t feel as if the pomegranate has quite enough moisture in it. I have thoroughly enjoyed using these for the past week and can feel the difference these lip balms have made in keeping my lips moisturized. Way to go SuLu on a great USA made product! I would recommend these to anyone looking for a new lip balm.

The spearmint instantly was a favorite! It was so soft, and made my lips tingle very slightly and left them hydrated without feeling greasy. These were all a pleasure to try and I keep one in each of my bags!

Sulu was not kidding around when they created this trio of lip balms. The packaging is stunning for a stripped down eco-friendly beauty product. They are transparent in their ethical sourcing, as wel their recycled materials, and the packaging is unlike anything I've seen because it does not have a plastic component. The lip balm must be pushed up. I did 10 to notice that it can slant on the way up so you just have to use with care but it is not a dealbreaker for me because of the care they took in creating this wonderful product and the recyclability of the packaging a lot of thought was put into it and I really appreciate it. I was hoping that the scented products would have a bit of a tint to it but they are all clear. However they Do y perform quite nicely they are creamy and hydrating to the lips. As a five year veteran in the high end, skin care retail industry I am seeing a lot more eco-friendly packaging that is making itself Main stream and keeping their price points at an affordable level.

Sulu was a new to me brand prior to using these lip balms. As someone who has a large collection of various brands, kinds of lip balms I always thrilled to add to it. When the box arrived it looked much different than what I am use to in a lot to ways. Sulu works to be eco friendly in their packaging and within their formulations for the packaging was recycled paper which I thought was unique. Inside each of the three tubes of lip balm were also recycled paper which was again unique to me. I love the variety set and being able to try different kinds. The pomegranate quickly because me go to. Each of them is formulated with simple but great ingredients like organic sunflower oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter and different extracts. I’ll start by saying each of them provides a hydrating, nourishing feel leaving your lips feeling great which is especially helpful during the winter months where I live. The issue for me came with the need to push up on the bottom to get the balm to a point where it was easy to apply, sometimes it would fall back down. Overall I would say this is a well formulated product, I like the uniqueness of the packaging but I feel I would enjoy it more in packaging that allowed it to twist up and stay up easier. I would definitely recommend these balms and feel they do a great job of doing exactly what they are suppose to in hydrating and nourishing your lips.
