As a skincare professional for almost ten years I have been well aware of retinol and the many products on the market. For me personally retinol has been too drying for my skin. I was excited to try this Theraderm Brillance Night Boost Retinol Repair Creme as I am definitely a fan of this line. Created by a dermatologist these products are medical grade and the results are amazing. This product hydrates with oils like jojoba and exfoliates with lactic acid. I believe that the combination of these ingredients with retinol packs a punch for your complexion. The scent here is a bit intense which would be my only criticism but it fades instantly. The product is very light and does not leave any heavy residue. Apply to skin at night and let your skin repair as you sleep. I did experience a bit of tingling from the lactic acid but it dissipated quickly. I like the results so far as my skin looks fresher and brighter.

I personally have never used retinol creams prior to this, as I have heard it can be very strong and irritating to the skin. I have sensitive skin so I was hesitant to try this. I have used the brand Theraderm before and I was very happy with the formulas so I was excited to try the Theraderm Brilliance Night Boost Retinol Repair Creme for its anti aging effects. I started with 1 night the first week and noticed a slight difference in the firmness of my skin and my skin appeared radiant the next morning! I have hormonal acne and this seemed to help with that for the next few days. It doesn't have a strong odor and the bottle is in a pump which is nice. The creme glides and melts into the skin. I did notice some slight burning on my cheeks the first time I used this, which was to be expected with it being my first time using a retinol. I have increased my usage to 2x a week but havent noticed much of a difference from the first time I used this. Overall, I think this is a great product, just something I may not be ready to use on a regular basis yet.
