As an Esthetician for the past 20 yrs, I have been extremely privileged to try many new products in the beauty industry. The Trophy Skin MicrodermMD device is a great addition to anyone’s beauty arsenal. Being an at  home microdermabrasion machine which I found to be quite user friendly, a plus for a first time user. The fact that exfoliation is extremely important in the health and appearance of your skin, this little machine does a wonderful job, gives great results, it may take more treatments than if you go to a spa, but you will definitely see wonderful results. The progression of cell turnover is, in our 20’s cell turnover is approximately every 28 days, as we age cell turnover can take 48 days and the number gets higher and higher the older we get. For this reason it is very important to be diligent about exfoliation as the result is bright, glowing skin with firmer skin tone, less lines and wrinkles, smoother texture and definite reduction of age spots and discoloration. Not only does this little at home machine save you from having to go to the spa for your treatments, a definite time saver, it will also save you money. The directions are easy to understand, there are 3 settings, auto, sensitive and manual. I suggest you stick to the auto or sensitive until you feel as though you would like to try the manual. There are contraindications which are available in the manual or on the website. Make sure to look at these before purchase as it may not be a fit for you. All in all, in my opinion this is a win win all the way around. A definite one to add to your regimen.

The Trophy Skin Microdermabrasion System is an excellent professional facial exfoliating tool to have at home.  I must be honest and admit my initial reservations on how and why, an advanced skin treatment, which has some real risks to be considered, would be made available for use to any consumer at home.
As a licensed esthetics educator, I’ve practiced and taught the benefits, contraindications, and risks of using microdermabrasion.
My apprehensions were resolved after receiving and using this machine because I learned and experienced how it has been uniquely designed for the at home beauty  consumer, with safety in mind. 
The standard diamond tip is designed to provide safe and effective treatments at home, as diamond tips in the spa or medical office come in varying degrees of exfoliating depth. 
 The machine is very easy to use, with clear instructions, which should be followed. There’s no guess work in how to use and maintain, and it’s surprisingly lightweight. 

I am a combination skin type, Fitzpatrick type 5.5/6 - skin tone, so I am in that group in which microdermabrasion treatments can be a nightmare if not done properly, potentially causing PIH- post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which further supports my initial reservations.
I’ve experienced effective and safe treatments during the two weeks I’ve had the machine and will continue to use to maintain my even skin tone,  minimize large pores in my oily zone and fine lines and wrinkles.

I was so excited to try this machine out. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t even wait to receive it! I have never done professional nor at home microdermabrasion treatments and am almost 40 so Im sure that definitely added to my anticipated experience. 

I made sure my first time using this machine was at night due to it causing some redness. I started off with a clean, dry face. Next, I made sure to apply one of my most luxuriously serums to allow the Trophy Skin Diamond Tip to glide over my skin with ease. 

This machine was very user friendly. I made sure to read all the literature in its entirety prior to using to ensure full comprehension. Once I felt I had a good understanding of how to operate this machine, i powered it up, followed the directions, set the mode to sensitive, then simply followed the screen and replicated the movements as were directed. Within only 5 mins, my entire face, neck and chest had been treated. 

After my treatment was completed, my face felt fresh and only a tad bit sensitive. Of course I was a bit rosey but that was to be expected and not uncomfortable at all. 
Since my first microdermabrasion treatment with Trophy Skin, I’ve done 3 additional at home sessions leaving 2-3 day in between each. My skin shows definite results already including more glow, firmness and radiance. 

I’ve also had a chance to play with the extraction tip which works wonders! Even my husband fell in love with it and said he’d like to make it a weekly part of his own routine. I have yet to play with the infusion tip but am thrilled to experience that option as I have no doubt it will work just as effectively as all the others. 
This is a must have device and well worth the investment!!

Pro Tip: Make sure to apply a serum to your face for more effective gliding and suction. Also, when using the extraction tip, start on a low manual level and raise your level slowly until your preferred suction is achieved.
