I have been working in the beauty industry for more than a decade therefore I could give you a long winded reason to apply this luxurious body oil on almost any body part from head to toe. Many of us in the salon have been doing PRE shampoo oil treatments with Body oils to alleviate problem scalps and then of course you receive a scalp massage and shampoo it out before sending a person home with a shiny head. This fast absorbing oil is not made for scalp massage but I found it useful. It was formulated with both an esthetician and scent expert so the scent not only served as a nice experience but it totally has skin benefits including a huge and beneficial flex that it can protect your skin from premature aging caused by environmental factors in the environment. Dont skip this wonderful luxurious body oil experience. Only a tiny amount squirts out of the application spout and that is all you will need to enjoy the full benefits. It is rich in color as well which adds to the dewy glow you will experience when using on the body.

Banyan Botanical Body OilI have some seriously dry skin and there’s nothing I love more than to get out of the shower and apply body oil while my skin is still wet. I was really excited to try out Banyan Botanical’s Body oil after seeing the beautiful list of ingredients they added. Jojoba oil is one of my favorites and I noticed they showcased that as a main ingredient. The first thing I was excited about and knew I would love right away was the dispenser. Something so simple that so many brands seem to get wrong. It’s easy to overuse body oils, I like the pump on this one and it helps you to distribute only as much as you need. The smell is familiar, I can’t exactly put my finger on it. Almost like a very muted patchouli and lavender, which I found a tad stronger than I was expecting; at the same time, I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s overwhelming. It’s natural, woodsy, and unisex which I like. I first tried it on my dry skin and I thought it absorbed well. I did find that it was a little greasy, but that didn’t bother me. It claims it’s not greasy, however, I defer on that opinion. I’d say my only real issue was when I used it on my damp, fresh out of the shower skin. I did not feel as if it absorbed as well as other oils I’ve tried in the past. I do think that it’s helping with my dry skin issue tremendously and it makes my skin look healthier and more radiant- something I very much appreciate. It is a lightweight formula and is very easy to apply. I’d say about 1-2 drops per leg would be an ideal amount. My skin feels much more hydrated when I wear it and I absolutely would say it’s a lasting hydration. Although, I didn’t care for how it applied to my skin after the shower, (which is mainly when I use body oils), I will continue using it as a finishing touch for long-lasting, youthful, silky soft hydrated skin. I don’t have an issue changing up how I use my body oil. It’s a great product, there’s really nothing bad I can say about it. I’d recommend it to others.
