I am a 55 yr old male who follows a daily facial routine that includes facial cleanser (with exfoliator a few days a week). I follow that up with toner and moisturizer. I opened this up while in the shower and was met with the familiar Blu Atlas scent. My first concern is the bottle being made of glass and it gets slippery when wet. The Volcanic Ash Facial wash poured out quickly as it is kind of thin in texture. I poured onto a facial wash sponge and cleaned my face. The cleaner had a nice scent and foamed up nicely, but overly foamy. It rinsed off very easily and left no residue behind. My skin felt smooth, refreshed, and renewed. After the shower, I dried my face and noticed that my skin tone was even and the skin was smooth. My face tends to have a lot of shine and this facial wash made that shine less so. I liked this aspect a lot. My pores looked clers and even minimized a little. This is a facial cleaner that works well. My only concern is the glass bottle and the cleaner being a bit thin when pouring.

Most of the facial cleanser I have used so far are good in cleaning the skin but leave it dry and dehydrated. This face cleanser from Blue Atlas is defintely better. Not only it does an excellent job in cleaning and exfoliating the skin, but also leave my skin soft and shining. It has the goodness of volcanic ash which is known to have excellent absorbant properties and high antioxident quality. It clears the impurities, excess oil and grime accumulated on the skin and gives a fresh feel to my face. I also felt my face is glowing and didn't feel any dryness after using this face wash on daily basis. This face wash is suitable for all skin types. I defintely recommend this face wash to others for daily use and I am going to buy this again .

I have recently been using the Blu Atlas volcanic ash face cleanser. I have used many different facial cleanser products over the years. So, I know what I like and what I don’t like. For the most part, I have enjoyed using this volcanic ash face cleanser. This product, absolutely, does the job of a facial cleanser. After using this facial cleanser product, my skin looked clean and refreshed. It also has a nice consistency. It’s not too thin and it’s not too thick. The product also feels really nice on my face. The product gives me a cool, refreshing feeling as soon as I apply it to my face. I like this product. However, the scent is a problem for me. I have never liked fragrant skincare products. This product reminds me of why I don’t like fragrant skincare products. I don’t like applying a product and getting hit with anything that is perfumey or overly fragrant. The product has a mild ash scent. I’m not sure if it’s the volcano ash or something in the ingredients, but I just can’t enjoy the product the way that I want to because of the scent.
