What is something unique about these peel pads that are different from the others in your vanity? These are dual sided for you to have a medspa quality facial treatment at home. As a medical aesthetician for the last decade, I actually started with Cosmedix and their blueberry peels. My clients were obsessed! The lactic acid found in these pads is applied with the smooth surface of the pad. Once applied evenly across your face, the pad can be turned over for the rough gauze like pad to physically exfoliate the skin while the lactic acid works to break down surface buildup. The gauze like pad is one of my secrets I use for in office application- your skin will shine afterwards! After leaving on for a few minutes, a warm water rinse is all you need to reveal glowing skin. A physical sunblock of zinc oxide 10% or higher should be used to protect your new, baby soft skin.

Cosmedix Prep and Reset exfoliating facial pads quickly became a weekly staple in my skincare regimen. I was instantly in love after using only once! My skin immediately looked clearer, brighter, and more radiant! I like to use these pads at night after my second cleanse, and the following day I was still glowing! I also noticed that my makeup went on more smoothly and stayed put all day.I also like to use these peel pads on my clients because they get the skin perfectly prepped and degreased prior to advanced treatments like peels or before dermaplaning.I would say the only thing I am not in love with about these pads is that you have to rinse your skin 15 minutes after using. This isn’t exactly ideal for use in treatments or for my own skincare regimen because honestly- who has the luxury of time anymore? I recently started using the even and correct peel pads by skin medica because you only have to wait until your skin dries before moving onto your next step. Much more convenient.Overall I would highly recommend- especially for those looking to easily exfoliate at home, and for those who are concerned with fine lines, melasma, and/or sun damage. Start with use every other day, as tolerated. Bonus tip: make sure you are using these pads on opposite days from when you use your retinol and other exfoliating products to avoid any unwanted irritation or dryness.
