This deodorant is unfortunately not an antiperspirant but what I found interesting about this product is that it slows down hair growth. I don’t wax or shave so I wasn't able to talk to that claim. I do love the scent! It smells woodsy and green. The use of aloe is an added benefit since the hair removal process can be irritating and make the affected area more sensitive. I find that solid deodorants work better for me to manage perspiration leaving me dry and comfortable all day. Unfortunately, within minutes of using this gel base formula I felt moist and a bit tacky. That being said I'm not the ideal consumer for this product. I would recommend giving this a try if you are someone who struggles with fast growing hair and doesn't sweat heavily.

The first thing I want to mention is that I love how this Slow deodorant is aluminum free, which studies have shown may be linked to breast cancer in women (not trying to scare anyone). But this product t does not have any harmful ingredients as the ones we see at the grocery or pharmacy stores. I will admit I’m not use to the wet feeling it leaves on my arm pits but I’m willing to continue to use this based on the benefits that comes with it.  I don’t wax my underarms but shave them. I use this post shaving and notice that my underarm hair doesn’t grow back as quick as it did. This may be different for other users depending on their body hair thickness, etc. It has a nice natural, light scent that is enough to keep me fresh most of the day. This is definitely something I’m adding to my shopping list. 

Let me start off by saying I’m amazed. I’ve never had a product work so well. Full disclosure I personally don’t wax my underarms I shave them but that just goes to show how well the product works despite that. I’ve been using it for about two weeks and usually after I shave I’ll see new growth within two days but since using this product I didn’t see any for about a week after. The scent isn’t my favorite but that is just a personal preference but the fact that it’s aluminum free and the fragrance is long lasting is a plus. It’s hard to find good natural deodorants and the added slow grow feature makes this a must buy for those who want to explore the natural deodorant world. One of my favorite parts about this deodorant is it doesn’t leave a white cast so it’s black shirt friendly. I’d recommend this for anyone who frequently wears anything that exposes their underarms
