Overall a good exfoliant for most people. Simple yet effective with an easy application and a clean and pleasant scent. I gave a 4 out of 5 star review, as I prefer a stronger, more abrasive texture in an exfoliant. I can see how this would help lift light layers of dead skin to prevent ingrown hairs but since I have coarser hair, I need a more aggressive exfoliant for that purpose. I have been using the product on my face and neck for the past two weeks after shaving and I have noticed smoother skin without stripping. I would recommend use for 2 to 3 times a week for a more radiant appearance. Depending on your skin tolerance, it could even be used daily. The price point is fair and I can definitely see myself getting many uses out of this product.

I’m a shaver not a waxer. I deal with ingrown hairs from time to time and it’s challenging avoiding that. Waxing completely removes the hair from the follicles whereas shaving doesn’t.  I noticed that this product may not give me the same result as someone who gets waxed but it does work well post shaving on certain body parts. I will admit I was dubious of this product working for me, but after using it a few times I was a bit surprised. Even though there are products in store for in grown hairs after shaving, I do not get the same results as close as this product.  One thing I learned as a shaver is that I’m prone to ingrown hairs which makes it harder to prevent and treat. But with this baby, maybe not so much.  I would recommend waiting at least a day after removing hair to start exfoliating. You may not want to irritate the skin or risk it. But this definitely works. EWC you are truly amazing! Keep it up! 

If you have course curly hair you know how hard it is to avoid ingrown a. I would like to start by saying if you use this product as a person who shaves and are prone to ingrowns it might not give the same results as someone who waxes as it is harder to avoid ingrowns when shaving. Shaving doesn’t pull the hair from the follicle it just cuts it shorter so if you have curly hair when the hair starts to grow back it curls into the skin causing ingrowns. One that point I want to note that even though that is true this product works amazingly on the parts of my body that I do shave which surprised me because I am so used to getting ingrowns. It worked almost instantly I was so surprised. I do recommend not to exfoliate the same day after hair removal wait at least one day for any exfoliating product
