I’ve been going to EWC for years and I’m a cosmetologist myself so I also happen to be licensed to wax here in beautiful California. The condition of the skin matters a lot when we talk about the success of a wax. We live busy lives and there is absolutely nothing i
wrong with fast wax culture where we drive through at lunch time and find 10 minutes to wax the hair off of our body BUT it is my professional opinion the life of your wax can be extended by days of not weeks should you choose to invest a little bit more time in their products. After every wax your skin is probably screaming what did you just do to me!!! If you only had to pick just one I highly recommend the ingrown hair serum. Nobody is immune to their hair growing back! Absolutely no one! Second to a body pooosj or exfoliatee this right here will save your wax. It doesn’t sting those sensitive pores even moments after a wax! I wish I had a treatment like this when I first started shaving. The only thing that was accessible was Tend skin which burned like hell and smelled like vinegar. Ingrown hairs can be a pain in many ways - physically, they are stubborn, and a bit of an eye sore. Along with the healing process,  if you don’t get the hair out, you’re left with an ingrown hair that won't heal so easily.

I have been consistent with using the EWC ingrown hair treatment serum after shaving and have noticed the effect of the product. My skin in calmer, less reactive. I expected a little sensitivity or burning upon application, instead I experienced an overall calming after use. I love the gel texture, very light scented. One pump is enough to cover my neck after shaving. 

I can’t believe how in love I am with this product. Now I do not really wax my body hair but shave. This treatment product from EWC is the only one that has worked for me after shaving my bikini line. I tend to get razor bumps afterwards and use treatment to help, but this is the only one that has worked for me.  When applying this on the area I shaved, I did not feel any burning sensation at all. It is alcohol free which is a factor in no irritating feeling when using this. I love the fact that it contains glycolic acid and vitamin E which helps with gentle exfoliation and soothing the skin. It can be applied after shave/waxing or to treat existing breakouts. Which ever is your preference. This is a product that will leave you feeling more than just content.
