Jason Wu’s Potion 5 is definitely magical! This primer took me by surprised by how the primer acts like a moisturizer yet holds onto makeup for a long lasting look all day! Always be sure to apply this product onto cleanse skin then use a dime to nickel size of product to massage into the skin. You can apply for the product to dry after a few minutes or apply right away. I love how my skin felt automatically plump and moisturized. As a makeup artist, i cannot wait to start using this primer on clients especially since it’s a water based primer and has hardly any fragrance, it will be more versatile to use! If you enjoy this primer on its own, I highly recommend trying out Jason Wu’s Ready Set Radiance powder for the perfect setting powder for you makeup or to lightly blot on oily areas!

It is an excellent option for anyone looking for a primer to minimize pores, control oil, hydrate, and brighten their skin. It sounds to good to be true but I must have been under some spell because this magic does the trick. So the potion comes in this cool matte black vessel. The primer has this pretty rosy color but no identifiable scent. The gel primer immediately cools my skin, spreading easily and absorbing in seconds. It hydrates, smooths texture, and gives your makeup something to grab onto all day. I have combo dehydrated skin, and let me tell you my skin loves this. It creates a barrier between my skincare so that my skincare works better and my makeup lasts longer. I have been using this primer for a few weeks, and I even like to wear it alone.
