The lash primer is going to be a staple in my makeup artist kit! Jason Wu’s Lash Primer was a bit concerning since it being a white color but when applied the color just casts a slight whiter shade into the lashes. Before applying this primer be sure to curl your lashes then apply the primer. Afterwards, you can apply your desired mascara. As mentioned the cast will go away as you apply throughout the lashes but will also helps build a thicker coat on the lashes for a fuller appearance. Although this is meant for lashes, I actually enjoyed this product as a brow sculpt! You can apply the primer within the brows to help sculpt and fluff hairs down to how you want to shape them. I really enjoyed using this product and will definitely be adding this to my kit!

One good thing about the primer is that it dries clear and doesn't interfere with the color of the mascara. Do you like to wear different colored mascaras? The Jason Wu primer can help those colors pop. Do you have thinner lashes? Do you wish that your favorite lengthening mascara also thickened your lashes? Well, now you can use this underneath that mascara to create body as your favorite mascara gives you the length you want. Although I'm not too fond of primers, I can at least see the appeal.Pro Tip: For best results, allow for the primer to dry for two minutes before applying mascara.

As a makeup artist, I have tried many products but lash primers were not my favorite products, maybe because my lashes are shorter and Asian hair tends to be more stubborn. But being given the opportunity to review and test Jason Wu’s lash primer has changed my view and will definitely keep this one in my makeup kit! The face that JW has infused skincare into this product has helped a lot because it’s hydrating from the biotin but because of it, it stimulates hair growth too! I noticed that this lash serum doesn’t irritate my eyes and it’s easy to take off with my cleansing balm. I applied two coats to my lashes, waiting for the first layer to dry a bit before applying the second. It didn’t make my lashes lift but it did lengthen them slightly and did not budge. That enough is for me to love it. Thank you for this opportunity!
