I recieved this product from beautytap for review, but please know I would never let that affect my thoughts on the brand or the product. OMG this brush is AMAZING. I loved it on myself and my daughters. One has thin, fine hair and the other has coarse, thick hair. It beautifully detangled and combed both types of hair! They both complain that when I brush their hair it hurts, but I didn't get nearly as many complaints when I used this brush! I only used to brush dry hair, so your experience with wet hair may be different but truly this is the best brush I have ever used in my life! I am constantly buying and trying new brush styles to see if any will fare well on my 9 and 10 year old girls but this one is the last brush I will ever need! I cannot recommend enough!

Way to go Kareco! As a beauty expert with more than 10 years of experience working with 30+ brands, I loved having the opportunity to try this brush! I preffer this brush for detangling rather than styling. My hair is a fine/medium texture but I felt like this brush was better for styling medium/thick textures. I was a bit disappointed about the density of the brush as I would have loved to be able to use it for styling. It was just too harsh on my wet/damp hair. However with the addition of the boar bristles I felt like my hair was smoother and shinier when I detangled with this brush. I still like the original kareco detangling brush best. I think kareco should specify that this brush is best for thicker hair types rather than all hair types.

I have been a licensed esthetician for two years now and hair is definitely not my strong suit. I typically brush my hair about once a week when it is wet just to get the tangles out and this brush is pretty good with that! The paddle is flexible and bristles glided easily down my super thick type 2c waves. I felt my tangles loosen but I still had a decent amount of hair come out with the brushing. It was more gentle than the regular paddle brushes, but not as gentle as the buster detangler. As you can see in the picture, there was still a good amount of hair caught in the bristles. I liked the paddle and the full-flex aspect of it but it just did not prove to be snag free. I used it with my wet hair fresh out of the shower which typically helps with keeping it tangle free. Great design, but not my favorite from the KareCo brand.
