I can't get enough of this packaging! It looks like a luxe, high-end brand, but doesn't have the high end price tag. This is one of the most accessible brands founded by a celebrity hair stylist on the market right now. My hair is natural, so I try not to use heat on it too often. When I do, I look for products with natural ingredients, sulfate and paraben free, and that won't weigh down my already fine hair. KK's heat protectant delivers! The sweet almond oil in this product smells divine, while giving a really nice sheen, nourishment and hydration to the hair. Blending that with coconut oil helps to protect and prevent split ends, while the aloe vera aids in strengthening the hair so you experience less breakage. I used the heat protectant on one of my more expensive hair units, and it left a frizz-free, shiny finish that lasted for days! Kim Kimble's packaging is beautiful. The price per ounce is great. Her element of availability to all is influential. As an environmentalist, there is no better time than now to utilize recycled materials and sustainable ingredients. This is something that would impress me. This price point is great. the availability is great. but I would like to see the company approach this aspect of production. 

I would recommend this product to anyone heat styling their hair. Just a few veils of mist through damp hair prior to blow-drying. It can also be sprayed onto dry hair prior to heat styling with an iron. Use this in between heat styling.

As a beauty expert for over 10 years and as an African American I am no stranger to using heat to style black hair, from the days of Madame CJ Walker to the present. I have been a huge fan of all of Kim Kimble's work and have thoroughly enjoyed testing all of her products available from Walmart for Beautytap including this Blockbuster Heat Protectant and it really delivers. I love a great ingredient story and this product has it with sweet almond and coconut oil as its base. As we all know heat can be very damaging to hair, specially when overused and this product is designed to be used on dry hair as a protectant while using heat styling tools, like the Kim Kimble curling iron. As always her products are free of the no no list, Paraben free, sulphate free, and phthalate free, safe for color treated hair as well.
