As a 44 year old beauty expert with thinning, slightly damaged hair, I always look forward to trying out hair repair products. I’ve tried Kim Kimble products in the past and have been very impressed with their performance, so I had high hopes for the Rephair shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately, neither the shampoo nor the conditioner worked well with my hair type. The formulas are a very thin consistency which means you have to apply a large amount of each in order to lather. Both the shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling quite dry and wiry. I had to follow up the conditioner with a spray detangler just to be able to comb through my hair at the end. Nice smell and nice large bottles but won’t last long when having to apply such large amounts with each application. These formulas may work better on curly, thicker hair but I can only speak for myself and my long, straight hair. This natural and sulfate free conditioner is perfect for any and all hair types but best suited for dry and damaged hair. It’s also color safe and formulated with the finest natural ingredients such as honey extract, panthenol, jojoba oil, sunflower oil, and safflower oil. The formula helps bring back dry damaged overworked hair back to life with its natural emollients. The honey extract gives it this nice little grainy texture but overall it has a nice creamy and smooth texture like your normal conditioner and it has a floral clean spa like scent. I love the way it’s helped strengthen my hair and my ends. It’s meant to help stop breakage and make hair resilient which is pretty accurate I’ve seen a lot of improvement mostly in my ends. It also helps incredibly with detangling and giving me great volume. Hello Again Beauties!

	After having a baby two years ago, my hair texture has drastically changed. I went from a light wave to mixed curly wavy hair texture. I literally have some “s” curls mixed in with a loose beach wave and a few straight stands. Fixing my hair is very time consuming. Product tends to make my scalp itchy, my texture is a medium fine and is weighed down easily, and my scalp can get oily quickly. With that being said, and even having years of experience as a licensed hair stylist, I am still trying to find the right blend of magic products and styling tips to get my hair looking beautiful. 

	The Kim Kimble RepHair Shampoo and Kim Kimble RepHair Conditioner has been an interesting product to try on my hair. There were things I really did love about the products and some things that I think can be improved upon for a better overall product.

	The Kim Kimble RepHair Shampoo is glamorous and makes you feel like you are fancy with its gold trimmed packaging. The shampoo comes in a squeezable tube to keep the product easily dispersed upon use. This shampoo is geared for people that have more curl and texture to their hair. Upon using the product, the shampoo dispensed out really quickly and came out too running making it a little hard to work with in the shower. You will need a lot of product for your scalp. Once you have the product lathered in, you can really notice the difference in the formulation. The shampoo really cleanses the scalp without stripping your natural oils from your hair. I was very impressed with how soft yet clean my scalp felt. If you are dealing with a dry scalp, then I would definitely recommend you giving this shampoo a try. 

	I followed up with a secondary shampoo to just really make sure that I removed all buildup and products in my hair. I still felt a lot of moisture retained in my scalp. The smell is very subtle and extremely pleasant in my opinion. After rinsing, I used the Kim Kimble RepHair Conditioner. The conditioner was gritty. When you work with any product that has coconut oil in it, this tends to be a problem. I tried to warm the tube up and smoosh it around to eliminate some of the grit. However, my efforts seemed to fail. I applied the product. I tried to gain insight with how long to leave the conditioner in my hair. I did not see a specified amount of time, so I would recommend the instructions take note if the product needs to sit for 2 minutes or 5 minutes etc to achieve the best results. 

	The conditioner worked really well to my surprise and instantly softened tangles out of the ends of my hair. The grit was not residual in my hair after rinsing. My hair felt clean and moisturized at the same time. 
Upon, styling my hair did seem to have a reduction in frizz. I also thought that my hair stayed oil free for longer before washing again. I was really surprised about that because the product was so gentle on my scalp compared to other shampoos I have used in the past.
