Kim Kimble Star Treatment Masque is a great substitute for hair conditioner. I love a good hair mask and I typically apply a hair mask once a week. First of all, I love the scent of Mango Shea Butter. I also love that I only need to keep the mask on for ten minutes. My hair was very dry and stressed prior to applying this mask. Once my hair dried, the damaged areas were soft and the irritated areas on my scalp were relieved, especially the area around my bangs. I was barely flaking when I was brushing my hair. Overall, my hair was smooth and there was a boost of shine bouncing off my bangs. My unruly hair was easy to manage and style because of Black Castor Seed Oil. I truly feel this is a key  ingredient in maintaining volume, promoting scalp relief and hydrating the hair. It checked all of these boxes for me. Chebe Seed Powder softened my dry hair without much hair shed. There is nothing greasy about the emollient formula and I am curious to see the results if I keep it on overnight. I love how easy to use this masque is, from the packaging to the formula! For someone who has long hair like me (past my butt), this masque spreads pretty evenly throughout the hair due to its almost watery consistency. It honestly feels closer to a conditioner due to its formula, but it's something my hair personally likes. I detangle my hair before adding any mask because most of the masks I've tried are thicker and harder to brush through the length of hair I have, but this one looks like it'd be easy to help detangle due to the light formula and consistency. I haven't tried detangling with it yet because my hair doesn't need a Mask every week but I'm looking forward to trying it! Also, because the packaging is made upside-down, - when this starts to get low - I don't have to worry about flipping it and banging it on the tub to get the remaining product out! I currently don't have a lot of damage to my hair besides split ends but I love the shine and nourishment this gives me without the weigh down. This mask was surprisingly light for its ingredient formulation with Black Castor Seed Oil, Chebe Seed Powder, Mango Seed Butter, & Shea Oil. There's also some added fragrance which is light and spa-like. In conjunction with the whole Kimble Haircare line, my frizz has been reduced. I didn't use this with heat because I don't have caps and heat products for that yet, but another thing I am really looking forward to, to see any different results.

OK, you guys…this premium, salon-quality har masque that is cheap AF? Is this for real? I figured no way is it gonna be that good. But well, it was! The thoughtfully formulated ingredient list in Kim Kimble’s Star Treatment Masque is what makes this, “Star quality”

The masque contains black castor oil, a natural humectant, which means it is packed full of vitamins and nutrients that moisturize dry hair, which in turn prevents breakage. It also contains mango seed butter, which not only smells lovely but also has regenerative properties for both hair AND scalp. I have learned the hard way that to have truly healthy hair, you do need to start at the scalp. It also contains shea butter which also helps improve your overall scalp health, and nourishes the hair. Finally, Chebe seed powder helps prevent breakage and encourages hair growth by nourishing and moisturizing each strand. I gave it a try and was so stoked about the results. My hair felt thicker and healthier after just one use, and after a few tries, it felt even stronger! I did pair with the whole RepHair line to really have the whole experience. Although this is suggested for those with textured hair, I still could reap the benefits with my fine, thin hair. I just need to use less, which means I get even MORE bang for my buck. I recommend it to all hair types, especially those looking to repair dry, damaged, or treated locks. Kim Kimble really knows her stuff, and the price point is so good, there is really no risk at giving it a go!
