As a professional makeup artist in the entertainment industry, I love testing out new products that I can use myself as well as use in my kit on set and recommend to my clients.I like the idea of incorporating olive oil of the highest quality (extra virgin) as it is so healthy for your body when you consume it as well. The idea of a balm stick that can be used for lips, eyes, cuticles and basically any area of the face and body was very intriguing to me. It is now my new 24/7 companion. What a genius idea. I have it in my purse or pocket during the day to apply it on my lips throughout and a quick rub on the back of my hands after washing them. At night it is my companion on my nightstand when I feel like I need that extra boost of hydration anywhere, from dry elbows to knees. It is absorbed very fast and doesn't leave a greasy residue but seals in the moisture for hours of hydration. Definitely can recommend this for all skin types as it can be used on specific targeted areas as needed. As far as I can tell (very little information available online aside from their statement on their own website "We love our furry friends and do not test on animals.") is does not test on animals. They don't test on animals, however it isn't clarified if their suppliers or any third-parties do. They also don't specify if they sell their products where animal testing is required by law (China).

Kosterina Extra Virgin Oil Balm is a MUST HAVE! If you experience dry patches or just need a quick hydrator, this is the one. It's the perfect size to put in your bag or just on the go. It melts into the skin so quickly. I really like the fact that it protects the natural moisture barrier. It quickly absorbs, yet you feel the protective layer on the skin. I put it all over my eyes and on lids slightly. It leaves a dewy, hydrated finish. I also put it on my lips and sides of base of nose where for some reason I tend to get irritation there especially in winter. It calmed the skin and regulated the hydration where needed. I actually feel the olive oil in it which makes it a perfect product. It does leave a glowing finish, a health finish in my opinion. Well made. I give it a 10 plus...
